Never had a problem with them, just as bright. It's all down to what you can afford and whatever gets you out on the track and having fun. Side note every adventure king item I've bought says made in China on it, so this is a little hypocritical
How long you had em?
I'm with you Max...bought a pair of 9 inch "cheapies" from EBay from a Chinese business for $290.Had them for 4 years commuting at night from Sydney to the farm in Wingham and will guarantee the light output is way more than my 4by needs and they are as good as the day I bought them...fuck paying $800 and upwards for absurdly and ludicrously priced, but well marketed lights. They fuck up after 4 years then a new "cheapie"pair will go another 4 years.Check out the red rims that have faded on ARBs Intensity lights and then talk about value for money and cheap lights.
@@FTX03 the last set I bought in 2008, onto their 3rd car now, bit of alloy corrosion and paint flake but bright and strong as ever. The LEDs are sure the fail soon, they have to lol
I have had ebay lights for 5 years. Still going strong and i have to run a separate wiring harness for each as they draw so much current.
Love it
I'd love to see how the ARB lights go against the king's lights
Arb destroys kings. I will never go kings again
Kings are the best value for money in Australia without doubt.
It boils down to what you want them for, there is always that dick out there that has to “out light” everyone.
Have had both Kings and ARB, can’t say I noticed a massive difference other than price.
Don’t be fooled by all the tech specs and bs the over priced ones will confound you with to justify their price tag.
@@MrA8888888888888888 perfect said 👍 I'm trying my hardest to find a more halogen colour 🤷 ultravision led do a warmer 4000k so less glare "BUT". $1200 no way
You just saved me from making a BIG mistake! Found ur site, ordered some Adventure Kings Domin8r Xtremes, subscribed to ur channel. THANX GUYS!!!
Dude, they're obviously not going to be that bright. They're usually as bright as expensive similarly sized lights tho
no better than the $150 ones at supercheap, look like they came from the same factory in China
Hey mate,
This video is from 2018... our current top of the line LEDs are now even more improved www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/kings-lethal-9-premium-led-driving-lights-21-840-lumens-1-lux-at-1-342m-osram-leds-5185k-colour-temp.html
Cheers,
Cahn
They all come from china. Cheaper to produce.
My eyes don't like 6k or over.
It all looks all black and white at 6.5k, very distracting and irritating.
Bright is not the best. Terrible on sign reflection.
The Kings 5.7k lethal for the price is great value.
Sign reflection is still not good but better than others at 6k and over have tested a few and .hated them.
I Have 9-inch Lethal on the truck and 7-inch on the Prado. Brilliant, very happy so far.
Perfect match for breaking when needed. And the side vision for me is very important.
However, I reckon a 4k to 5k led light lethal would be perfect.
Please make them someone.
🙂
Adventure King are probably Chinese also but just done make the outrageous claims...
Aussie family owned business mate. Hope this clears things up!
Cheers, Chad
@@4wdsupacentreAu Aussie made tho?
yeah. I'll buy Kings $800 Chinese lights Vs the $100 pair Chinese ones, Huh???
Clarify kings is owned by aussies, all there gear is made on China.
Plenty of top brand gear is made in China. It’s the quality control and reputation that’s makes the difference
I believe everything they say because I want to.
