When I saw Shen mid + challenger I thought "who copied xPetu" , Im so glad you made a video about one of my favourite league players!!
I was like "so is this about xPetu or am I gonna be surprised?"
Thanks to xPetu I have a degree in Shenology and a Masters in how to int as Akshan. He put my 3 and a half kids through college and paid my mortgage off while teaching ACTIVE: Jax enters Evasion for 2 seconds: a defensive stance that causes him to Counter Strike.png dodge all incoming non-Turret icon.png turret basic attacks and take 25% reduced damage from all area of effect abilities sourced from Champion icon.png champions.

such a great guy, i started watching his videos 2 days ago and its a breath of fresh air in the league community with the way he looks at things.
I randomly started watching one of his longer shen guides one time. I don't play shen, but I learned a lot more from that guide than from any other guides. Not only is his mentality great, but he is also a good teacher.

So great to see players that will merrily adapt their build each game. I used to go Sightstone very often when playing Shen, usually when my support either afk'd, was trolling or was too behind or scared to go set up vision for the team.

When xPetu uploaded his first Shen mid on UA-cam I thought it was something only he could do, then I tried it out and I couldn't believe how easy it was to pull off (while building tank of course, I'm still not crazy enough to go Galeforce) I do have apologize to xPetu sensei since I got fked by a Zed because I got cocky in my first preseason match xd
And yes guys, go for Heartsteel before it gets nerfed, I feel you're weaker on the early game but you're a monster once it starts stacking up and pair it with Demonic Embrace and -that thing the storekeeper uses to get rich- Titanic Hidra

In 10:42 it's said that iceborn gauntlet is not a mythic item anymore but it is, it's even showed in the print on the left, in it's place in the build should be Sunfire since that's the one that's built more and is no longer a mythic, chemtank can work sometimes too

The moment I saw a video about shen I somehow knew it's gonna be Xpetu
I played ADC since I started in season 4, and I only hit gold twice. The first time I think I just grinded out enough games.
The second time was this season, 12, because I really wanted the Sej skin. So with 2 weeks left in the season I just bit the bullet and started only playing Shen top. I got gold really fast from my position in Silver 1 10 LP. Shen is crazy impactful.
This guy should be recommended to EVERYONE.
on top of being good at the game, he's super chill and funny even while playing at the best level. I am yet to find one of his videos that doesn't make me genuinely laugh.

Honestly i thought this was xPetu's video initially so i just clicked on it without even looking at the title .
I didn't know he was playing mid now. Dudes a beast.
Chimes, I think spearshot deserves a feature on here for a few reasons!
- illaoi mid was a standard build but just in a irregular role, which made it on here.
- pantheon top has the same energy as many of these other picks (very roam heavy, spearshot could explain how pantheon doesn’t really fall off completely he just needs two or three items to shred people down).
- spearshot is the only pantheon toplaner that has such a high rank (he is also on EUW and has been challenger most of the season).
There was a video about spearshot on another channel that does exatly same videos, and they don't copy each other.
