Pink salmon fishing is fun but you are right about the combat fishing. That gets old real quick for me too and it’s righ back to the lake. I really enjoyed this video👍 I’ve had good success for crappie using the gulp minnows on a jig head.
We have fished lake Steven's and lake washington for perch. We fish deep up to 100 feet, using the same jigs. We motor around till we find pockets of them on sonar. We just jig straight under the boat, if you catch a small one use the meat for perch bait.
@@BashiWAFishing lake Steven's is a good lake perch, bass, trout and kokanee. We usually fish the north end for perch. Launch at fish and wildlife Launch at north end, but there are fish all around that lake.

I have never fished at lake Steven's, how is it? Yes, if you have a fish finder, things will be much easier.
