Just a small tip: the magnetic cup interferes with the scale readings because of the magnet on the bottom. On my scale (timemore black mirror) it would cause sometimes a difference of +/- 0.5 gram depending on how I position the cup on the scale. If you’re seeing inconsistent retention from the grinder it’s most likely because of this. I ended up switching to another cup entirely when dosing.
@@CaffeMartellaSingapore you can test it with the magnetic cup empty. Just put it on the scale and weigh it (don’t tare) then lift it up and place it upside down on the scale to weigh it again.

Specifically, how many days off roast are the beans, what was your dose and grind setting, how long was the preinfusion, and what ratio did you pull? Or do you know about the final shot weight? And total time was about 65 seconds? Thank you so much and I'm glad you're enjoying the grinder!

great stuff. i'm still waiting for the 064s to arrive (bought on KS), hope it doesn't have the same problem with the button like the 078s
