I was a big fan of David and now I am a big fan of both of you. Jaime, good job and please do not feel bad for ranking the 1910 last. I still believe you liking it a lot. Both of you are awesome, and i have to admit, it was the first time I was laughing out loud watching a whiskey tube video. Keep up the good work.
Thomas, thank you so much for the feedback! To be fair to her I kind of set her up knowing what would happen with the ultra sweets versus a traditional bourbon like 1910. Yes the 1910 is very sweet for a standard bourbon, but no matter what if you take a whiskey and infuse maple syrup it's going to be next level sweet
Hello I bought 15 different bottles of bourbon I want to try them all and then buy more but my question is will they expire or not after open if yes how long will they last?
Well - its been a year so I hope you not only opened all 15 to try (that is an awful lot of bottles to buy at once!!), but I hope you finally noticed all the open bottles on their shelf and the shelves of the hundreds of other youtubers out there... Open, sip, enjoy and then come back over and over for decades.
I just found this video. The Jacob Weldon Blended Bourbon needs to go head to head with these. It's out of north Texas and is absolutely fire. Your lady will love it!
Recommend for Jamie Seelbach's bourbon finished in french oak & maple syrup barrels or (havent tried this one but based off her palate) Starlight distillery's maple syrup barrels. Great video as always!
WOW....that tasting slapped Jaime right in the mouth!!! She was soooo shocked. I roared when she made a face after drinking Her 1910! All I want to know is are any of those bottles really sweet? My sister would love a sweet maple without the burn! Thx u 2!!!
We both had a lot of fun filming this one. Yes if you get a whiskey that is infused with maple syrup it is very sweet. They're almost sweet to the point I can't drink them for more than a sip
Thx. That's how I feel about them. I'll drink half a shot glass because it's too daggone sweet for me. I bought something sweet from Canada and every time my sister visited I gave her a shot. She loves it but I can't get it again until I visit Canada next year. If I could find one that was like a sweet maple liquor in the States that would be ideal for her. Thx 4 ur information. Hi to Jaime!
I know this is an older video but anyway. I finished a glass of 1910 and left the glass sit overnight. When I came back and smelled it in the morning it was straight maple syrup
Weird question--are the Glencairn glasses your using for tasting larger than the normal ones? If so I need to find those! Great video-I am a 1910 OF fan like Jaimie-lower proof stuff as well! This swayed me to try some of these others …like Knob Creek☺️
The number 1 cape chapels where can we get the exact one I’m in Cali and can’t find one I was hoping if you can tell me where I can order one. Thank you
I can side with Jamie on this. There are times when my favorite 'go to' bourbons are off tasting. But I hit them the next week or so and they are fine. I think our palate's at a particular time have a lot to do with it. Or maybe it's just me.
In a way I did kind of set her up… Putting a traditional bourbon like 1910 which is sweet, but not infused whiskey sweet, up against these infused whiskeys when she has a preference for sweet isn't quite fair
Hey Jerry, I've had her try the Woodford reserve double Oak before and there's something about the barrel char and wood tannins in it that she just does not like at all.
Too funny - buried 1910! I thought KC was like a pancake breakfast and dangerous to drink the whole thing. Anyone have the Widow Jane Decadence? Can't seem to ever find a bottle out west but anxious to see how the maple barrels impact the bourbon.
You should have explained to her exactly why she put 1910 in last....and it's just like you mentioned up front....you gave her much more sweet options in the mix(which she likes), so it's going to make 1910 fall flat in that specific regard against them, so of course it wouldn't do well.
Oh yes, we talked about it on camera, but it just got cut during editing. We filmed for an hour. Regardless of how long we film, I try to cut it down to the most succinct and entertaining video without dragging it on. Sometimes I do think I over cut though
The 1910 reaction was priceless. She now knows how you felt with your Michter's 10. I think with this I wanna try a Widow Jane product, but they are pretty much inaccessbile in canada sadly :(
@ItsStillRealToMe DamnIt You assume wrong that these interest me in any regular way. I am diabetic, so I rarely drink them. Yes they are marketed to a different crowd, certainly not aimed at Islay fans like myself. I have enjoyed BSB with sugar free Lemonade on more than a few occasions. I keep a few tiny bottles of the BSB 103 around for that. The Chocolate Whiskey will go in hot Chocolate this Fall and Winter. Screwball is strange for me. I love PB -- really really love it. I find that I can't stand it for the most part, though mixed with Chambord it hits like PB&J. Beyond that I rarely drink liquors. I used to before I went Whiskey so I understand the pleasure. I do like a nice Rusty Nail and keep Drambuie around. I also enjoy Irish Creams. As for the Southern Comfort -- last touched my lips on 11/2/1977 -- yes long story and it was that bad.
just shows you a) bottles of bourbon from the same company/brand can still taste from good to awful so forget about trying to buy new bottles and thinking it will be the same b) when you taste blind you get a more realistic impression of what is good with no preconceptions c) these channel owners have more bottles of liquer than they can ever drink... with 3/4 to 1/2 open bottles just sitting on a shelf sadly waiting to be consumed.
I feel like you missed an opportunity to call this new series, “Blind date with Jaime.”
I may have missed the opportunity this time, but I may end up stealing your idea because it is brilliant! 🔥🔥🔥
I love that 1910 came in last lmao. Now she knows how you felt when M10 didn’t score good!
I was a big fan of David and now I am a big fan of both of you. Jaime, good job and please do not feel bad for ranking the 1910 last. I still believe you liking it a lot. I like my bourbon/whiskey sweet. And the sweetest I could find is Four Roses Single Barrel. Tho to be honest my choice here in EU is very limited 🙄

@12:55 "But I did" soooooooo Funny

Thanks for the recommendation, I have to check them out
Seelbachs sold out same day. Next year though!
This was great! would love to see more like this
Awesome, appreciate the feedback!
I don't know if you can get this down there but you should have her try Journeyman's Corsets, Whips, and Whiskey. High proof but very sweet.
Great episode, love the outtakes and off the cuff moments.
Great video! I have to ask... Did anyone else pervy mind immediately go somewhere else when he opened with "4 way blind with Jaime" "D

That was awesome!! Great job y'all and Cheers 🥃👍
That was awesome. Very entertaining
Widow Jane Decadence may have been a more interesting entry for this blind versus their rye mash.
Awesome. Now she multiple options for her preferred flavor profile!
Pretty great, y'all. Enjoyed watching.
Weird question--are the Glencairn glasses your using for tasting larger than the normal ones? If so I need to find those!

Jamie was a very good sport. Its always a great video when a blind has unexpected results such as this.
Yes, she put up with a lot
You took it well, Jamie 😄 Cheers from Sweden! 🇸🇪
The number 1 cape chapels where can we get the exact one I’m in Cali and can’t find one I was hoping if you can tell me where I can order one. Thank you
Absolutely love this video.
Really need a bottle of that 1910, place near me is selling it for 68, idk if that's worth it
That seems a little high to me, but might be worth it for one bottle at least to try
I was pleasantly surprised when this cane across my feed.🥃❤️🥃
Nicely done
Seriously.....LOVE her face when she realizes 1910 is last. LOL
Cape Charles reaction…awesome!
I can side with Jamie on this. There are times when my favorite 'go to' bourbons are off tasting. But I hit them the next week or so and they are fine. I think our palate's at a particular time have a lot to do with it. Or maybe it's just me.

Dang I thought she was going to get it correct, when tasting the OF 1910, she said that it was very familiar.
Shoulda dropped a WRDO in there.
Great show as always by both.
Hey Jerry, I've had her try the Woodford reserve double Oak before and there's something about the barrel char and wood tannins in it that she just does not like at all.
You're a cruel, cruel man - you just wanted retribution for what Jaime did to your beloved Michter's 10!! 🤣
I hadn't thought about it before filming, but subconsciously I probably was 😂😂
New to your content and really loved this one
Too funny - buried 1910! I thought KC was like a pancake breakfast and dangerous to drink the whole thing. Anyone have the Widow Jane Decadence? Can't seem to ever find a bottle out west but anxious to see how the maple barrels impact the bourbon.
Wow.....tables are turned. David's Michter's 10 year is never his first and Jaime's 1910 is last...wow
Thumbs up and a comment cus jamie gettin drink!🎉
How the tables have turned this was Dave’s revenge for the Michters 10 😂
I hadn't thought about it before filming, but you might have a point… Subconsciously 😂
This is Jamie’s Michter’s moment!
At least we're both having fun, LOL
Won't get credit, but I think I beat Escobar with my Knob Creek Maple pick...
My opinion, if you are always right on your blinds, then why do them...love the results...this is why I do them to weed out bias
True!
You should have explained to her exactly why she put 1910 in last....and it's just like you mentioned up front....you gave her much more sweet options in the mix(which she likes), so it's going to make 1910 fall flat in that specific regard against them, so of course it wouldn't do well.

Let’s go Jaime.
Earnest look of crushed dreams when 1910 was last.
Hahahahahhahahahahhahaha

Monkey sholder is super sweet.
A very fun video :-)
Wooo
What do we learn? People are consuming brands and not what they like. Good job guys
Brown Sugar Bourbon
I've seen that around and didn't even think about it for her. That's a great idea!
@@theonerow The former owner of BSB, Heritage now has a Chocolate whiskey as well

No, no, just no. I don't like bourbons so sweet that they give me cavities.
I’m calling it….1910 lol
the title says sweet whiskies , but in the video the guy says bourbon . are sweet whiskies called bourbon ?
what kind of crackers are you guys munching on??
everyone stop eaing carbs just think about what you're eating processed trash
