- Here we get to watch "That_DAMNED_Jager" playing his (obviously) favorite ship in a game with, I think it is fair to say, very cooperative red ship players. lol. This is a short, but very fun to watch, game of devastation. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did! Thanks for watching and as always, your comments and questions are welcome and appreciated!

Excellent job on the video! You really do have the best DD channel. Really outstanding! Jäger is a sneaky torpedo sniper, sort of an all-or-nothing boat, because it has no tools to escape, but this game was an up-close torpedo fest. One thing to watch for when hunting is what I call “travelling.” When a ship knows a torpedo boat is near, he dodges and weaves and is hard to hit, but when an enemy in intent on getting somewhere, like the Takahashi and Izumo were in this game, they go straight and fast. When I have time, I try to deduce what the target is thinking to figure out where to shoot.
Super close knife fights are the hardest and Jager is not good at them. The other day I had a knife fight with an Adriatico; I carefully aimed and loosed each rack and got one hit from each rack, four total. He had taken them on the bow sequentially and because of damage saturation they didn’t kill him. He killed me with guns. It was very frustrating.

Thanks, Neil! Jäger is super squishy but can be a lot of fun to play. Like a T5 DD with long range speedy torpedoes. :-)
I once thought that I could charge (or run down) a lowly pair of Divisioned Jagers in my nimble and dodgy Oland... "I was wrong"! Holy crap that was a-lot of torps. I managed to get through the first sets but the reload was way faster than I thought possible and I couldn't find either of "Those Damn Jagers": The second sets were better coordinated AND... Well... 24 torps all at once from 2 angles? I'll Never try that again! lol.
I divisioned with a friend in an Ostergotland the other day. I was in Jager. We were being actively pursued by a New Orleans in an otherwise open area in the SE of C on Shatter. He dodged a few volleys with his hydro, but finally, we were able to coordinate crossing torpedos 12x8 at about 80 degrees. It was a thing of beauty. He got hit simultaneously with both sets. We lost the game, but that volley made it worth while.
Would have made a great addition to a WoWS Blooper reel! ;-)
