    I love creating and thinking about colors and you nailed it exactly, bout visual clarity in a scene and focusing more on the rest of the aspects. (Though odd color replacement if it doesn't look too out of place can be really satisfying too.)
    Something that's come to my mind more recently programming-wise is redefining a table instead of deleting every item from it, when you clear the bullets I know you still need the shwaves so maybe not the most helpful here but if it's cheaper to do bulls = {} instead of del(bulls,v) in the loop could be real?

      Yeah very good suggestion. I'm not going to redefine tables in this case precisely because I want to have my shvawes. But otherwise, that would be the way to go and I often forget it. Thanks for the reminder!

    Just play any Amiga platformer and you will become a devout believer in limited color palettes

    sorry if i accidently forgot to save in the education edition pico-8 how do i get the stuff that i didn't save? Is there any kind of backup?

      The stand-alone version has an automatic backup. I don't think the Education Editon has it. I could be wrong tho
