The setting wouldn't normally appeal but it's a great premise and I enjoyed Cal's short story and her writing style in The Advent of Winter anthology.

Im on book 4 of crown of stars and based on how slow I've been at getting to the audiobook, maybe we'll end up reading it at the same time! I appreciate how the plot and magic intertwines through the series so far. Definitely a slow build.
