This was by far my most favorite simulator ride when I was a kid. I loved the mixture of a science fiction rollercoaster with this wild west atmosphere. The only thing that bugged me even back then was this modeling error at 1:07 . You can see the arch-structure going through the tracks, blocking it completely (and yet you still drive through it).
I’m so happy to find this on UA-cam, been meaning to search it out for a while, this was my favourite as a kid and I found it again a few years back hidden away in a seaside town arcade, such great memories (and of my mum panicking about me being inside) 😂
This was so much fun back in the day. The chill soundtrack was the icing on the cake. Here we are, just being awesome at 200mph somewhere out in space... :)
3:20 "Thank you for riding with us today. Please remain in your seats until the door is fully opened. There are many other exciting Venturer experiences. Join us again soon, and remember that with Venturer, dreams can come true!"
90's Simulator Ride Films were badass and still now, priceless. Feel the adrenaline rush. However, there's still a lot of underrated simulator ride films
This is still at Butlins Skegness as a two seater simulator. And it’s still absolutely amazing. I got to ride it with my teenage children and even though it’s very old they thought it was epic. And rode it more than once.
I can still feel the movement of the cabin... 😢 I absolutely loved the simulator at our amusement park. But then the original owner, I and my dad where good friends with, sold it, because of personel reasons. After that we didn't see him anymore. And the new owners, a couple, were completely incapable and removed all the good tracks, like the astro canyon, the ice cube factory, the lava coster and all the other cool stuff. Instead they tryed to do something self made, but it was compleat garbage. Not a simgle movement of the cabin was fitting the lazy CGI-animation and they installed compressed air for wind and a water spray to make it more 4D or something. If not the bad Animation and Movement was already killing the immersion, the compressed air jump scare with occasional watter spray definitely did it. There was no heart behind it. And now the simulator is gone...
This was the movie for a flight simulator in German amusement park „Hansa Park“ during the 90s 😅 god I loved this one! I went on it several times as a kid
I don't know if someone realised it already, but 3 of the other 4 coasters have the name of locations in the Grand Canyon: South Rim, East Rim and North Rim. From the very beginning I noticed the similitudes between the setting of this video and the Grand Canyon, but when I saw this video, around a couple of months ago, the western style music confused me, but now all makes sense.
I love this video. My old man use to have a simulator and this use to be my favourite ride on it, brings back the memories of going on days with him and my brothers to festivals and events. Awesome video
They used to have this on the end of the pier in Brighton (England). I remember it used to be £5 and i think even £7 the first several months after it released! £5 is equal to £10 now! Our family was very poor so i only went on when one of my mums ex boyfriends used to take me for days out. The annoying thing is it had 6 pictures of all the shows it supposedly did but it was ALWAYS this video (except a single time when they had a rally car video!). There was a picture of a Red Arrows flight which i always wanted to go on but they never showed it 😭
I remember they used to have an arrow that slid along a pole showing you which film was showing and it was firmly stuck on the poster for the Astro Canyon Coaster for at least 5 years 😂 I also remember asking the ride operator in his little hut about it at the time and getting what was moreorless a shrug in response so it remains a mystery!
This ride is the reason my life is what it is today. Check out the videos I make on my channel. This ride inspired my career aspiration to one day direct motion simulator videos.
This is actually a real coater in a galaxy far away from earth. I'm not from Earth, but I remember riding this (real) coaster many many years ago. If you think this simulator is good, just imagine the real thing. Looking at the state of the planet Earth at the moment, you humans are a very long time off something like this.
In the movie you actually ride through all the zones, they are named after real places of the great canyon. By jumping from track to track, ending up in caverns you experience what going through other tracks would’ve brought you to go through

They used to have this on the Venturer simulator ride when I was a kid. It was awesome.
Thanks you ❤❤ Here on Spain we rided on this Simulator Many times. In ParqueSur (SouthPark)
Nostalgia hit me hard.
I always liked the bit at 2:12; I thought some kind of parachute was going to come out as we fell - but no, a laser guides you in!
So much fun. Glad to see other people enjoyed this as much as I did.
Addictive short movie! The first time I've seen it I was 11 (in 1995). After so many years the magic always works.
I remember when they had this at the Science Museum when I was a toddler. They even still have one at Tenpin Feltham.
My local shopping centre was lucky enough to have a venturer s2 simulator and this was the track i chose every time. It was like the mid 2000s.
I can still feel the movement of the cabin... 😢

Absolutely tragic. I feel you 8'c
Best soundtrack ever! £1 a go back in the day 😁
Remember sitting in the simulator in Courchevel when I was 11 thinking this blew my fucking mind
Astro Canyon Coaster my favorite simulator ride to make a cardboard of science
This was the movie for a flight simulator in German amusement park „Hansa Park“ during the 90s 😅 god I loved this one! I went on it several times as a kid
This really needs a full size 1080p HD
this is my favorite one out of all of them.
this is from the venturer s2 simulator, called astro canyon, its on one of the maps.

I went on this ride at a convention this year, the first time I ever been on a VR ride, so I was so excited to see this again here
I was just a small kid when I rode this, scared the heck out of me when those seats lift up xD
I love this video. My old man use to have a simulator and this use to be my favourite ride on it, brings back the memories of going on days with him and my brothers to festivals and events. Awesome video
This would be amazing for VR
someone needs to remake this using unity and make it available on oculus, vive, and psvr. id buy it in a heartbeat
HANSA PARK 90s!! ;)
Holy shit imagine how good this would he if it was made now!!!
I remember seeing this when i was very young in the early 2000s.
Used to ride this in myrtle beach all the time as a kid lol I'd always beg my mom to pay for me to ride when we would visit. Good ole days :-)

£5 that's alot of money we had a ventura simulator at coral Island arcade blackpool, it was only like £2 a ride. Now sadly gone 😞

Awesomeness here in Loughborough UK
That simulation was back in 1994
Check the shuttle number at 0:23 😏
Shuttle 69? They really snuck that in there? Wow...
Can you tell me where to get all or at least some of the Venturer Simluator Films?
İşte bu hey gidi günler :))
love the part were the car jumps the track-only to land on the opposing side! 1:44-1:48

this came out in 94 this took a while to make
Nostalgia
I wonder what it would be like if they made rides for the other zones the coaster can ride through

Best ever
Coral Island...
Wonder what this would look like remade/remastered...
acog416 with computers back then it probably took so long to render this.
ua-cam.com/video/Fu7fP5oFA0s/v-deo.html
This is remastered version
can someone tell me what the tune is for this ride it is catchy as hell :D
I know right? I want to know too.

Halo Ep2
Whooo
Super ........ und wie heißt der Song ???
ese juego donde yo e ido a metro en peru
i want it upgeaded for Oculus Rift *___*
what game is this from?
Its not from a game. Its from a motion simulator.
This seems a bit unrealistic.
