Completely agree! I was just thinking how toxic boats like this are to the game. WG has already crossed the line with the amount of crap they have shoved into the game that I tend to stay at T 5-6 because I don't have fun at the higher tiers anymore.
That fletcher in the first game played pretty well, bro knew exactly when he was getting targeted by muzzle flash and shot as soon as you looked away haha
Nope, when the fires burned out he healed up to over 2k HP, up from the 700-something he had before. The improved BB heal skill and a standard (non improved) heal will perfectly cancel out two fires. An improved heal like Monty's will actually out-heal two fires with that captain skill.
The problem I have with current IFHE, is that it went from being an auto include on a lot of ships to worthless on basically any ship that isn't a T8+ 15X armed CL, or the rare DD that gets 15Xmm guns that isn't German. The only real exception to this is 155mm or 180mm guns that you can find at T6 and T7, because they can cross the 32mm barrier, everyone else is stuck at 31mm making the choice to take it fairly pointless when it's 4 points to MAYBE be able to pen that Battleship's bow/stern armour. I'd honestly love to see IFHE buffed to be 26.5% more pen. That extra 2% would allow for T6/7 CLs to pen 32 exactly, while also keeping T8+ 150/152mm guns from being able to pen 38mm. Would be a nice little change that would make playing mid tier CLs a lot more bearable. Importantly it also wouldn't put the small gun cruisers in any new pen brackets ether, it would only impact T6/7 15X CLs. I'd also like to see DD IFHE changed to be a 75% reduction in fire chance but for a 60% increased pen. Sounds wild but it would basically turn off DD fires, but allow them to pen 32mm if they have at least 127mm guns. It would also be neat if BBs rather than getting IFHE got a new skill, "HE to AP" where rather than boosting their HE pen, their secondary guns get AP shells instead. This would make a lot of ships suddenly viable as secondary builds, where even IFHE doesn't save 90% of them, and would likely encourage more brawling simply from making brawling more viable, and would also encourage really high risk high reward builds like a Super-Heavy AP secondary build, because your secondaries being AP they would also get that 7.5% damage boost.
For T6 and T7 light cruisers, IFHE does let them penetrate standard same-tier BB plating, which is 26 mm. Without it, 152s only penetrate 25 mm. I'm not sure how viable AP secondaries would be. Small-caliber AP requires careful aiming, or else you're just gonna bounce or shatter without the possibility of lighting a fire.

WAY back in the early days the IJN BBs had AP secondaries and did rather well with them in specific situations.(though their AP was only in 140mm and above their 127mm and smaller guns still fired HE) The main benefit to AP secondaries would be where secondaries aim for centre mass, at 8-12km the secondaries would be peppering the super structure of ships and dealing more average damage, it would also make things like the Italian 90mm guns able to actually do something without needing to give them SAP. Sure you lose fire chance but fires are inconsistent, raw damage is not. Wargaming could also make 127mm and smaller secondary AP shells work like Tachibana where the shells can never bounce, but have reduced damage over HE shells. In Tachibana's case her HE is 1300 where her AP is only 1000. It would take some tweaking but it would be neat if they could make it work.
There used the be AP secondaries in the game. Trust me, there’s a reason why no ship has them anymore. Not only would you frequently shatter or ricochet for no damage, the hits you would get would nearly be double digits due to overpens. HE secondaries couldn’t overpen, and the SAP secondaries are already a revamp for the terrible AP secondaries so there’s no point in bringing them back.
18:00 i generally feel like ships with higher arks, vermont and montana come to mind just like lots of light cruisers, especially suffer from the aiming systems. Lots of shells fall short or far at above 12km
I'm something of a Worcester player by myself, and i have over 900 million credits on my account, but i would never spend 300 million on a cruiser, that i can have for 50 million in a few weeks.

Jeez man. These new american ships are just kind of the best. Ridiculous dpm on the cruisers, insane tankiness and damage on the bbs, Maine Annapolis Wisconson and now this. Maine is just a bit too much. Youre almost guaranteed like 20k on any ship provided you aim well, let fires burn and get a 25 second reload, meanwhile germans with 8 guns and whack dispersion get trolled every other salvo

The trend should still be down, not up, with regards to player counts. The Vickers in WoT auction had 2,700 remaining at the end. And the Vickers is a broken new special tank.
Other superships didn't interest me and I didn't want to pour creds every match I play with them. But Jacksonville could be the first one I get when it's released.

I just had a Jacksonville against me That dude went into the Cap turned Broadside and got devstruck into Port by me... So sad that Players like that are able to buy that ship I looked at his Profile and saw that he almost exclusivly plays premium ships Like he has the Harugumo but dit not Play a single game in one of the lower tier DDs Just Whaled himself up there and now he is able to Auction a Supership as someone who has no clue what he is doing besides Yolo or camping with his beloved Kearsarge (2700 Battles in not even 1 1/2 Years) in the back I am sorry for all you good and decent players who got robbed of a Jacksonville because of people like that :D
The shell arcs seem MUCH better than on he Worcester, not slightly better.. This ship is going to be a nightmare in clan battles in the hands of a good player! And that´s what I hate the most. These OP ships are made for good players, they just help those players keep their high win rate up.

If two BBs are braindead then nothing can help. The margin between life and death on cruisers is so small, that a lot of BB players don't even notice it

Really toxic ship. I play lately T5-T7. Not getting into T10 anymore. I like BBs and closer range. Anyhow as example yesterday I tried my Wisconsin again and got animated, runing the whole game from submarines. 3 subs on each side and my team flank died quickly. So much fun...

8:40 I think he had no healable hp left, so when the fires would tick, the heal would instantly replace that hp and not go over the original hp
