Have you ever listened to Rondo Across Countless Kalpas or Hearthfire? They are not from Genshin tracks but Honkai Star Rail, another game title from Hoyoverse. They're really good tracks, and I think they also good with Cellos.

i've listened to quite a few covers of Hu Tao's theme, but i am now convinced cello is the best instrument for it!! i am so in awe of all the technical skill but also just pure fun in this cover. i don't quite know the right musical terms to describe it, but all the different kinds of sounds and techniques you used in this cover really made it come together. i loved the combination of the percussive and screechy cello sounds with the main melody - it added so much to this cover! no wonder the sheet music you showed us looked so cursed with all those slaps, lol. i don't think i've seen anyone do the lead-up to the main theme quite as well either, but it's so important to creating the right ambience!! the grainy filter was also truly the cherry on top thank you for giving us such a lovely performance as always lyre :D
Thank you so so muchhhh 🥹💖 Yeah the cello is very versatile! Not just because its range covers a range from bass to soprano, but also because we can use the instrument itself in all sorts of fun ways other than the traditional style of playing hehe. I tend to be a bit hesitant with using those, especially with going full percussion because I feel like I'm being an impostor percussionist LOL but after this arrangement I think I'll do more! I had loads of fun and like you said, it really enhanced the whole thing. It gave me a very concrete idea/solution for Caelestinum Finale Termini too, which I am VERY pleased about and can't wait to implement, hehe. So yeah, it always pays off to be a little courageous and branch out when possible~

I have thought about it! I've never been sure if I'd be able to properly pull it off, but I'll have another look at it and see what I can do! I would definitely like to eventually do all the Archons' themes, soooo.... yeah!
