Back in the 70s we didn't have tokens. We were all equal. Your character and talent was all that mattered. Always remember, things have changed. Never believe what you've been told.

Any 70's songs are real music.
Back then msny of us never saw the band members, we only heard them on
    the radio...
    many of us were surprised!

Southern Rock. Back of a pickup. Check out some Lynyrd Skynyrd. Michael McDonald went out on his own.

Cooley love the honest reactions, stumbled across your reactions and love the realness .
If you are still at it, try Chicago 25 or 6 to 4 or Three Dog Night Eli's Coming 🔥
You won't be disappointed and I'm sure I along with others will love your reaction.

There's about 10 true "vibe" songs I have heard in my 40 years of listening to rock. This is one. It can't be listened to without a smile ,even if its just internal, but it usually isn't. It leaks out from under your shoulder swinging groove.

First time watching your channel. It is awesome to see your smile. How your enjoy the music I was blessed to grow up with. I know not much of music today because for me it is just not music... Black Water is a great Doobie Brothers song the live video is fun to watch. You have so much music to listen to. George Clinton Parliment/Funkadelics are one of my favorites. Nice to meet ya

The guy who was the lead singer on this song isn't even in that picture that you got up on the screen. I can't remember his exact name right now but I'm pretty sure it was Tom something and cover your standing in front of has the lead singer of What a Fool Believes as the lead singer on that album cover but that's the only song he was lead singer on and there's another guy that shares leads singing on the song Blackwater my favorite by the way. I just can't think the Tom's last name

I grew up loving and playing basketball and there's been a few times where I played with a lot of my black friends that I grew up with that I was totally white guy with on the team or one of the teams that were playing, of course once they saw that I was pretty good I wasn't the token anymore they would pick me straight up just because they knew eyes decent.

I'm not sure if the doobies ever dropped in the acid but I can tell you straight up they were definitely smoking doobies for a fact and that open-air concert I went to you could smell the stuff and you could see they were smoking something and I don't think it was cigarettes and a lot of the people in the crowd were smoking doobies to considering that was a bunch of military boys I was a little bit surprised about that because I come from a small town in Ohio and I had always thought the military was like straight and narrow you know tight but they was definitely more than a few military guys smoking some doobies back then. As a matter of fact back when I first heard the Doobie Brothers the term smoking a doobie hadn't even then coins yet. Shortly after the doobie brothers popped on the scene with big success started here in people call smoking pot yes rolling a doobie or smoking a doobie.
