A mural of flowers or your business name on the side of the building would be beautiful! Maybe even an instagramable photo space for more social media engagement. So glad you got a grant. I hope you are talking with your local ag extension agent for all available grants and cost share programs, it’s not uncommon for funding to go unused when people don’t know to apply. So excited to see the space progress !!!

It was a special time in my life many years ago. Now I just grow cut flowers in my home garden in Northern Illinois and have a UA-cam channel to document all our projects. When shoppers walk into your store, they will be able to see and feel just how much care and love you have put into creating a wonderful shopping experience which includes selling your beautiful flowers. Instead of putting a sink in the center of the windows you should consider maybe putting it centered under one of the windows that way when you lay out your flowers you have a longer stretch of countertop to use as you build your market bouquet recipes. Unless you’re adding an island of counter space. I can’t remember if you said you were or not. Looking really good!
I’m such a stickler for symmetrical things that it will bother me if it isn’t centered. Haha. Plus I wouldn’t want a faucet in front of the windowsill. But great thought on laying the flowers out! I may have a workbench in the center at some point

This is so exciting! Your space is going to be beautiful. Just a suggestion: maybe you can carry some flower arranging supplies. Compotes, chicken wire, snips, that kind of thing. I need zero vessels yet I ALWAYS buy one when I go to visit my local flower farm. Best of luck as you wrap up the space!

The red brick on the front with the black window panes and lanterns is so charming. I hate to see you paint it charcoal like the side.
I know it’s the current style to call it modern but it just doesn’t do it for me. Especially for a floral shop.
I’m painting it a deep olive green.
