The genius of sound paint isn’t just the incredible new engine at hand, but the imminent re introduction of possibly every single 8dio library with new bonus content and new capabilities. I’m ready.
It’s a joy to see your joy and to share your love of sound design and music. With all the stress that must be involved in bring this to release, you still manage to look so happy!
Thank you. It probably sounds strange, but Soundpaint is really designed to be a warm and fulfilling environment that inspires. One you can totally make your own.
@@Soundpaintmusic It really is. Mission accomplished : ) Listening to some of your library demo's I think to myself "but I could achieve a lot of this with VSTs that I have already". But ... your software is a really nice work environment. I don't feel tied to presets, just a few clicks and tweaks seem to be enough to create entirely new sounds and feelings from the existing libraries. It's like, a really decent library collection but the player makes it so easy to experiment and explore. Absolutely loving it < 3
Wow. I can't believe I only came across Soundpaint yesterday, and am just blown away by these amazing instruments and a universe of incredible sounds. The free Steinway piano alone would be enough to make Thanos himself weep for joy. These instruments are a real game changer 👏
Thanks Nigel! The idea with SP (Soundpaint) is to truly put emotions in the box. Instruments you can feel and all dynamically rendered with 127 velocity layers, so things feel more realistic on the keys. More responsive in their perfect imperfections. Welcome!
funny to see how this amazing new instrument comes out at the same time as Omnisphere's new expansions. this next level of production was in the air ;) makes me happy !!
I just had the most profoundly ridiculous chat conversation with the *head* of Soundpaint support. I asked if these "emotions" can be played in different keys. I gave him the specific example at 4:40 in this video ("Admiration"), where everything is in the key of D. No matter what note Troels plays, we hear D (or a related tonality). Yet, the head of Soundpaint support said everything in this library is "atonal." 😳 I respectfully corrected him, but he wouldn't budge. I showed him how when Troels plays a C, we hear D. When Troels plays an E, we hear D. When Troels plays an F#, we hear D. That's why Troels can play notes at random, and they all work together. All I wanted to know is whether it's possible to change the key of an "emotion," but the clueless representative maintained that none of these sounds is in a key, and they're all "atonal." Holy F*@k. 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Now, that's dumb as fuck. A lot, if not most, of these sounds are definitely tonal. Troels does show how to strech individual sounds all over the keyboard around the 11 mark. also, if you wanna change the key of everything there is a pitch knob.
@@divinginspace9624 Thanks. I suppose the pitch knob is what would one would need to change the key of an "emotion." And If a piece of music needs more than one tonality (which is more often than not), we'd probably need multiple instances of that instrument, each tuned to a different key. I assume the transposition sounds good. At least I hope.
The quality and the quantity of this amazing sounds is going to take my music to another level, Every single one of the sounds are incredible and amazing. I'm getting the full $1,500 package.
I bought Palindrome and as a synth its amazing. But this library is just so playable from your controller.. All the elements to these soundscapes are in your hands. Very expressive. Endless options. The sound quality of this library is exemplary. Putting in 4 emotions at once and layering/morphing them all is simply huge and massive. I love the gain structure setup with these too. You can get extra volume from the layers themselves or the overall master volume. This library sounds great too used in conjunction with Palindrome.
I have to get this out of my system. This thing is ridiculous. I bought this library two days ago and I barely can take my hands of it. Good Lord, this library infuses pure joy right into my veins every time I press a key. Wow! I am just a crappy little UA-camr who makes crappy little music from time to time and I am by no means a professional musician but one thing I know for sure... Hybrid Emotions is one of the best purchases I have ever done! (and I bought 2 or 3 solar systems worth of libraries)
Will these sounds lock in scale if I use something like cubase scale assistance or Komplete Kontrol Scale mode? I ask because it's not one sound laid out across the keyboard, there are zones, i.e booms, risers etc.
Can we use this on a laptop and upload our music on like UA-cam and still keep the raw data in the program itself to edit etc? And are we allowed to use what we make and put it in games or whatever? Or is this solely a "for your own home, can't make money off what you create", etc?
Many have asked, but Soundpaint is ominously silent (unless I missed something): Can we load our own samples??? If not, is that going to be a future option? It seems like its possible because one of the videos is based around a low quality sample of a school teacher and the school band - it seemed like just a regular sample anyone could have loaded.
@@skipstream2 thx a lot, hmmm kinda dont like to buy romplers anymore but i will wait for the price and usability cause there is some lovely sounds here!

My sentiments exactly, Geert!
This one. This is the one that sold Soundpaint to me.
I'm in.

JUST AMAZING ⭐, tomorrow is a GAME CHANGER 😁

That sounds redunkulously great !!
Got a big winnner on your hands 8dio 👍🏻
watched all demonstrations, very nice sound, make music easier, love all, already having piano, will buy others, thank you for doing these!
library is really nice. I use it quite often in my projects)

Thx Echo!! It’s made with love!
Troells, you're a genius, man, I think so many of us have been waiting where we finally had the time to compose around the world this weekend.
Loving this library.
This library is really awesome!!!! I'm still using the 8dio auras and this new instrument will be the perfect complement for my pallette.
Epically awesome!! ♥ ♥ ♥
Boy! You had us at 2:33!! 👏👏👏💪💪💪
this and the gibson guitar will be my first soundpaint products i buy! can't wait.
btw the visual in 30:40 seems like something out of star citizen
It's fun to watch and listen to him playing cool instruments😆
i have been waiting a long time for this
next level
So Cool
Instant BUY!!
a Masterpiece
Can the patches work with MPE ?.
I love this idea, and have always enjoyed morphing sounds. Does Soundpaint allow me to import my own samples as well?
No.
Yet
But you can important your own samples into that $4000 profit x that troels is co creator of along with Dave Smith 😉
It sounds incomparable and is very cool sometimes combined with video visualization! Where can I find a catalog with such video visualizations?
How many of these sound pack things are there currently? Just want to know how broke I'll be initially.
Omg! 😍🎶🎹🎸
Will these sounds lock in scale if I use something like cubase scale assistance or Komplete Kontrol Scale mode? I ask because it's not one sound laid out across the keyboard, there are zones, i.e booms, risers etc.
28:03 ist that a Sample or the Chair ? ;)
As always: lovely noise.
Just to be clear, can you take any single sample from any emotion main patch and stretch it across the entire keyboard range?
Indeed. We call it one note stretch. Two clicks and you are there.
Can't wait to play with this!

How did you pitch the sound at min. 43:51? Sounded very nice...
You mean the very end of the video?
@@Soundpaintmusic Sorry, min. 36:41
I know I could do all of this by building my own synth layers and fx chains. Yet my mouse is still hovering irresistibly over the "Buy" button ....
The question is how affordable is the engine itself and each extension for it. Well, let's see tomorrow
The engine is free. The piano is free. This instrument is $50 and contains over 3900 morphable Real-Time Samples. It will never go on sale.
@@Soundpaintmusic Insanely cool! Thanks!
@@Soundpaintmusic Will it be possible in future to import our own samples into Soundpaint?
@@Soundpaintmusic wow that’s a great price thanks!

They allready said it will not be included in the release version, but in Q1 2022.
@@t1rrr0n Yes, I seen their message when it was released. Thanks.
sorry for the question but is this a rompler or an editable synth? where you can also load in custom samples?
Former
@@skipstream2 thx a lot, hmmm kinda dont like to buy romplers anymore but i will wait for the price and usability cause there is some lovely sounds here!
@@musicotaku666 afaik they’ve now added the option to load your own samples so although initially just a rompler, it’s now a sampler.
