Clothing manufacturers and designers around the globe should strive to greatly reduce the human exploitation that occurs in the manufacturing side of the fashion industry. The building collapse of Bangladesh in 2013, due to the irresponsible actions of factory owners not keeping the buildings up to code because they are pressured to keep manufacturing prices low to European and American clothing companies, comes to mind. The workers sew in unsafe conditions and are paid a miserable wage overseas and those workers should work in safe working conditions as well as be paid a decent wage.
