your sworn shied is also a genius and he is an aspiring blademaster with good learning (saw somewhere that learning helps when in wards) he might be a better teacher since aspiring blademaster trait is rare and can only be taught by another blademaster. also since you are now allied to dragon stone, maybe draconically conquer a kingdom(which ever is the weakest here) with dragons and 20000 men behind your back, you are nearly unstopable, just a little something to think of. also if you have a dragon egg, petrified or not you should give it to asher (the younger), if nothing he caan sell it for money when he is an adventurer.
the fact that the remaining Targaryen accepted a wedding with the Belaerys is a proof that their weakness is important. Never they would have wed a Dornish during the Time of Jaeherys. Even a dragon rider. But with Silverwing joining your side and the Targaryen dragons being mostly children, it's clear that you have the advantage now. Let's hope Ancalagon and silverwing start to have eggs in a short time. Since you're going to play as Asher, you should really found an expedition to Valyria to retrieve a sword for your futur character. A Belaerys with a Valyrian sword, riding one of the largest dragon and married to a Targaryen princess would be Epic. Especially, in this Divided Westeros. Asher should turn his Gaze to the Reach. It's rich and the lands are green and fertile.... easy to collect money and burn the ground...
You should visit the monuments or places that involves dragonlore and maybe teach dragonlore to Asher so that he can actually tame dragons easier and i suggest that you should tame ancalagon when you become asher
My lord, i do not wish to say it like this but i don't think you can ever reveal that the King of Dorne is your child and i believe i know why. The moment you had the child with Saera Targeryan, you already revealed to the world that he is your child. However, maybe bc of some glitch issue or the game somehow didn't take notice of it, the boy is still considered not your child, making it impossible to discover that secret since it's not a secret. As much as i agree that Asher should be learn some Diplomacy, i would also say that inorder to to become an adventurer, his other skills need to be high enough, especially prowess and except for intrigue. I wanted to say that Gerris, the one with the Genius trait should train him in his early life until he is at least 6, before putting his focus on Diplomacy. I would also have liked that you give to Asher the Diligent and Ambitious trait, so that he may have some bonus skills. Maelor should also be educated well with him so that be may be a good companion with Asher. Now, that the tournament is done, build enough money to go on expedition to old Valyria and get dragon eggs.
Oh thats a good point, maybe we will forever know but the world wont! I shall try and save for another expedition! Also I looked and we cant train up Maegelle!
Here is a plan if it works...... Travel by foot to a location like you are visiting, and assign a son who you have calculated as having a good chance of taming what ever wild dragon you want to hunt Assign the son as your caravan master, that way he will be with you, once you get there try to have the son, tame the dragon first..... And if you cannot.... Ride in with your dragon and KILL THE DRAGON....... it will prevent the Targaryens from reclaiming it, while giving you a good chance to tame it
See if you can take Asher's betrothed as a ward and also raise her in Diplomacy. That'll make them a very strong adventuring duo in the future. Also see if she has a dragon egg. Speaking of marriages. I think it's time to start marrying the next generation to each other. And break off Jaehaera's engagement. To keep things nice and tidy while you go off adventuring in the future. You don't need to ally with the Santagars, now that you have the Targaryens and Silverwing. Plus it wasn't even a matrilinial marriage. Not worth it.
3 other things. Are you a Dragon riding house or are you just short of becoming one. Because that helps with dragon taming chance. If you want to cheese inviting people just fire your caravan master and it'll give you the decision to hire another. Use this to find very powerful characters. See if you can get a Grand Wedding between Asher and Maegelle on her father's dime. It would be a cool start to a life of a dragon riding diplomat that's married to a Princess.
@TheDrunkenCommander You'll have to correct me. But I think you need 5 dragon riders in your family, including yourself. I don't know if they all need to be alive. But if that's not the case, as soon as Plasadusax gets big enough that'll be 4. ( You, First Son and daughter, Vyctoraes) at that point get another dragon anyway you can and your good for the rest of the campaign.
You might want to betrothe asher to someone before you play as landless with him or youll get some random person unless thats what you want instead of keeping the dragonblood pure(er) in that line of the family
I do not like that we are wasting money on a tournament, it often does not end to much our benefit..... WE STILL NEED A DRAGON PIT. Our female dragon has not had any more clutches..... and it is getting kinda DIRE!
