nice video! I've been debating on a Volvo S60 R-Design or an Audi S3 for over a year now. Still haven't made up my mind, and I've watched probably 100's of videos for each model lol.
Thank you! The S3 will be quicker and handle better, but the S60 will have a more comfortable ride and a much larger back seat. That is not to say the S60 handles poorly or is slow.. it will just drive more like an A4. The interior feels a little more updated inside than the S3 as well. In terms of audio, I am very pleased with the Harman/Kardon system (standard on R-Design/Inscription, optional on Momentum). The Bowers and Wilkins system is probably the best sound system in this price class, but I have no regrets saving the money- the HK is great too.
@@ACCORDingtoTom appreciate the quick response, yeah both seem like great options. I tend to over-research these things, haha. The S60 looks better though, in my opinion.
The idle noise is that normal for the car is that just how it is, I have one the same and it sounds the same and I was worried it may need a new belt or I’m just going crazy lol
Looking at a 2019 and a 2020 R-Design. What are some of the other differences between the 19s and 20s. The 19 I’m looking at doesn’t have the advanced package, but only 8K miles. The 2020 has 24K miles. Same price. Which would you buy? Oh and the 20 is denim blue, and the 19 is pebble gray.
oh, hows the harmon kardon system? I was going to get the bowers and wilkins sound system if I end up choosing the S60. I'd like to know if the stock system is good as well, thank you.
How is the transmission shifting with the Polestar tune? I just test-drove one of these without the tune, and I found the shifting to be slow and slushy. Manual-mode response was measured in seconds, and even in automatic mode it was less assertive than I thought it ought to be. For reference, my current car is an Audi S3; I don't expect this car to match the sporting characteristics of the S3, but I didn't expect it to be quite as far off as it is. The Harmon-Kardon audio is actually the standard audio on these, I thought, the Bowers & Wilkins would be the upgraded stuff, no? I've heard great things about the B&W, but my tester didn't have it.
I have the Bowers and Wilkins in my ‘19 and it’s worth the upgrade. Amazing quality and power designed to each vehicle’s acoustics which other companies don’t do.

I have t5 2021 same color with ash blonde interior great car had 2012 s60 prior
I love my S60! I do wish the interior ambient lighting was nicer - thats my only complaint
The sound system in your car is the base unit . The upgrade is B & W system
This is the base unit for the R-Design, but this is the mid-level option for the S60 in general.
Nice red v60cc in the background 👌
9s the eAWD on the recharge all the time? Or will the battery die and be stuck with fwd?

POV drive next Lol
What size rims did you have on there? 19”?
How do you order a polestar tune for a 2017 s60?
Top speed limited or not? 🤔
Have you driven in snow? If so, how was it?
