      Aaron Tucker I remember him from the north works fitting shop marking off table, I was an apprentice fitter, his name was "Joe" wasn`t it?

    Was the reporter Jack as in later Baron Ashley? The long time Labour MP for Stoke on Trent.

      Yes, that's Jack Ashley. He had severely impaired hearing, and this affected his pronunciation. There's not many now in Westminster could hold a flame to Jack!
