I can relate to everything he just said HAHAHA that's so true. Also typical filipino mom's, they usually ask their children to find something they've lost. And then their child would be like "Mom I can't find it" then the mom would say "use your eyes not your mouth" or rather "When I find that before you do, you better get ready for a spank"

Rell and Deo, yes Filipinos do lots of gestures that the meaning can be awkward to foreigners, but there are things American do also that might be offensive to other people. Oh, i just want to give you some example when my wife first came to the Philippines. We were at the mall in a restaurant, my wife asked the waitress after the food were delivered for some extra napkins, and the waitress was surprised when the waitress responded with a blank look. You see, napkin in America is something to clean or wipe your spoon or fork and mouth, but in the Philippines, napkin is for the ladies under and they use tissues for the tables which is completely opposite in US. Tissues is something to clear our nose with or wipe our behinds. Anyway, this is kinda lengthy, so things you guys learned from the missionary who spent time there will prepare you guys when visiting the Philippines. Thanks for sharing your comments and laughs with us. God bless
