Aurora is so modest. She actually sang Hans Zimmer's, Take me Back Home, at the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, the Frozen Planet II theme, and did the vocals on the rest of the Hans Zimmer sound track for it. She skipped away at the end of her performance, and the conductor had to run after her, and bring her back, to receive rapturous applause.
All of her albums are captivating. Dare I say that WHTTH is her best album.. it's so well written. This record contains so many human emotions. It is a masterpiece because it cannot be placed into one single genre of music.. it's just simply a representation of the human soul and human experience. There is literally a song for everyone on that record in my opinion.
I am so in love with her music and her personally I am so glad I caught this interview with her. I have tickets to see her in Seattle this month and I can't go due to a bad knee!! And I can't stand that long! Now I'm crying here. 😥
Nothing would stop me from seeing and hearing her music live. There is something incredibly medicinal about her entire existence. I really hope you can still go experience it.
I could just listen to her talk all day long. Something about her voice and the way she talks, just gives me such a warm soothing feeling inside. And ofcourse when she sings...that is just OMG !!! ❤❤❤
I believe this was done Oct 6. Thank You for posting. Good questions. I learned some about her music tastes. Knew about Dylan and Cohen but others, not so. As like many others I could listen to her talk for hours. God, I would love to sit down and have a coffee, wine or beer with her, just for 5 minutes.
A friendly recommendation for this channel. Please consider leaving out the background music in the future. Takes the edge of the interview and feels intrusive.

In any other human, I think I'd write her off, but she is so genuine and guileless - it's beautiful. Thank you for interviewing her.

@@Dave-hb7lx (almost) no one has a dvd player any more.
@@Dave-hb7lx they don't come in new computers or laptops any more. streaming is where technology is at now.
@@Dave-hb7lx That would be worse than the Blu-ray quality video already out there or even UA-cam (especially in 4K).

Great interview, but the background music is way too distracting.

'Apathic' (which got me scratching my head a little) = apatisk (Norwegian) = apathetic (English) lolz...
Make sense in french: "apathique".
@@kaddishcombattants Oooh la laa eh kaddish - many thanks for making the time to point that out - :-) :-) :-) ...
It's Sunday
What great words of wisdom Aurora! 🥹 thanks for this interview!
