I was today years old when I learned I could drag a layer mask to another layer by clicking and holding option while I clicked on the layer mask and dragging it to another layer. Thank you Phlearn!

Am I the only one who thinks we should just all agree on one name for modifier buttons? Like we all know that command on Mac = ctrl on pc and alt & option are the same.
How did you create the 'colour fill' layer at the beginning and what is the number of the beautiful color?? And why are you not ansering peoples quistions?
Ok. Now I have some idea of what masks do but why would anyone use them? How does this help me to improve my photography and make my photos look better?

Maybe you skipped "apply layer" for a luminosity mask

Not exactly a keyboard shortcut for creating new layer mask. Much quicker to just click on new layer mask icon.
