    “ I don’t want to be hood, I’m square “ love that we have men of courage, with wisdom who will speak out like that. Coming from Pat and others, unfortunately doesn’t carry as much weight. But coming from a man like PAC, that’s real. Because that dude has been through and seen some things that I hope you and I ever have to. Lord speak to that man, remind him of his worth. Not just financially but as a father, brother, friend, role model and everything else in between! He needs you, as do we all!!

    • @WheelchairWolverine
      @WheelchairWolverine Рік тому

      @@tjls123 no one said he couldn’t be. He could be without the NBA. But he’s a young superstar in the NBA. Who needs to reshuffle the deck of people in his life and get his priorities straight. If he wants to stay a superstar or just in the league period. He needs some good people around him, to help navigate him in the right direction. Before he loses everything he’s worked his entire life for. We’re talking about generational wealth possibly being lost, if he doesn’t reassess his priorities!!

    • @tjls123
      @tjls123 Рік тому

      Its not illegal to own a gun. It is also not illegal to hold the gun. So im not sure what exactly your asking for the Lords help with if its not for him keeping his job in the NBA. Thats the only thing at jeopardy right now.
      He is worth over $80 million, that is already generational wealth, his kids will be fine my guy.

    • @WheelchairWolverine
      @WheelchairWolverine Рік тому

      @@tjls123 I never said that he did anything illegal. I don’t care if he owns guns. I won dozens of them. But I treat them with respect and safety in mind. Despite the fact that it’s not illegal to own them. He is employed by a team and plays for a league and they have rules, regulations, code of conduct etc. so even though it’s not illegal, he can get in trouble, putting his future and wealth in jeopardy. Which was obviously made clear since has been reprimanded for something like this before. I asked the lord to speak to and guide him. Because he clearly doesn’t have the right people around him and he doesn’t understand/ care about the consequences of his actions. Sure he is worth 80 million but he could be worth and earn hundreds of millions more. If you know anything about the history of athletes ( and super stars ). Most of them are broke and/or bankrupt within a couple of years after they retire or get pushed out of the league in which they play. again, it’s not illegal and I never said that it was. I’m a huge supporter of the 2nd amendment and would never give up my weapons without a fight. But Ja is a public figure, who represents his team and his league. Who have made it clear that this type of behavior is not acceptable, as it doesn’t represent the team/leagues value. Especially considering the team/ league wants their players to be great and positive role models for the next generation. Ja should own as many weapons as he wants. He should get a license to carry any weapon he wants to carry. Wether for protecting himself and his family or simply for the fact that it’s his right to do so. Hell, he can even post videos of himself going out and shooting his weapons in a safe manner. But going around, acting like a fool, flashing weapons in a car. Isn’t being safe, responsible or respecting the weapons he has. But the biggest thing here is that regardless of wether or not it’s legal or illegal. he still works for a company that has rules that must be followed and if they are not. Then they have the right to punish their players as they see fit. Playing in one of the biggest leagues in the world is not a right, it is a privilege. So even though I am a huge supporter and advocate of the 2nd amendment. I still understand that as an employee of a company that has strict rules and guidelines. If I’m told there is a code of conduct and not obeying or respecting that code could result in lost wages or my job/ career. I would put myself, my family and my ability to provide for them first and would be a responsible gun owner. Again, not illegal to own, hold or even have a video of yourself with your weapon. But having multiple videos, that show you’re not being responsible and don’t care about the consequences that may come from that. Shows your true character as a man, employee and representative of the league you play for. It’s really not that hard to understand my OP or why this is an issue. No one has said that he’s not allowed to own or carry a gun. No one can take that right from you. But what he has done in those videos could be illegal in the state that he’s in if he doesn’t have a license or if he’s intoxicated/ under any influence of any kind while doing so. Which is the main issue at hand. ✌️✌️

    • @WheelchairWolverine
      @WheelchairWolverine Рік тому

      @@tjls123 “ that’s the only thing at jeopardy right now “. No kidding, that’s precisely why I said the lord needed to speak to and guide him towards the right kind of people who will help prevent him from losing all that he has. Because EVERYTHING he has is because of his status as an athlete in the NBA. So, yeah, he definitely needs help and guidance from some wise men and women who have been through and dealt with things like this. Which is why PAC is the perfect person to go under his wing and learn from. Because he knows first hand what this type of lifestyle can lead to. Wether you’re a superstar/ athlete or just a regular guy. This type of behavior, doesn’t carry you down many roads, that lead to wealth and prosperity!

    Ja is grown and has a kid. So the biggest share of the responsibility is on his shoulders. However, similar to someone who has a problem with drugs or alcohol, your circle has a big influence on how you act and your decision making. So in that regard he needs to cut people off. Then he went to the NBA, made millions, and became an all-star. That is the kind of life and trajectory we should want for anyone. That doesn't have to come at the expense of demeaning people who come from a more difficult background, but Ja choosing to put on this front AFTER his success feels like it spits in the face of what he was given. You couldn't suspend him the first time because it wasn't a crime, but the 2nd time after he was informed of how that image affected the league, there has to be tangible consequences.
      It is a slippery slope to punish people for things that aren't crimes if they aren't informed it is wrong in your organization.
      Many people are still upset about Ime Udoka losing his job because cheating isn't a crime and the relationship was consensual by their own definition.
      Some people find it hard to see people punished over allegations of wrongdoing. This isn't even actual wrongdoing in the eyes of a lot of society and isn't wrongdoing in the eyes of the law.
      I believe he deserves a suspension but the first incident shouldn't have resulted in a 20-30 game ban. Also, the NBA let the Grizzlies decide the punishment since the Grizzlies are a business themselves.

      Fair enough, but also teams were not game planning to shut down a rookies game whereas an established dominate player will get more game planning attention .. who’s better? The kick returner who never rarely gets an opportunity to return balls because teams don’t want to kick to him or the rookie who catches teams lacking 😅 it’s a tough debate
