His mom called him to foot locker to intimidate a employee that annoyed her. That’s the woman that taught him right from wrong, and we all have seen how his dad acts. I don’t think he had a chance
Yeah I’ve been bringing this up too. I didn’t even know about that until the first gun incident. But this behavior has been home grown sadly.
He’s a grown man at the end of the day
23 years old is not a full grown man lol
@@dangeroushandles 😐 y’all need to stop. He’s a grown man
@@dangeroushandleshow old are you? 😂
Ya know … this show has made me a Pac fan. Never played for my team … and tbh thought a little negatively of him, but now … I genuinely like the dude and appreciate his journey and the man he’s become.
He played for the Broncos for a little bit and I grew to like him.
But him being on the show has added a whole nee dynamic. Love me some Pac, he’s so raw and real.
He's definitely grown since playing
I mean.. he adopted a teammates kid when that teammate died. Pacman is a helluva human.
Redemption stories can be the most inspiring and hope promoting
Pac Man has made this show so much better, his honest answers and approach is super relatable.
He will be the first to get fired from Disney for being real
Well he’s the only token black guy, so of course it’s going to be different 😂
The best player comment was laughable
Silver is about to bring down the hammer this time for sure. 3 day suspension AND 3 days of rehab 😤
@@yvrytry5rc haha
Bro Adam Silver sounded legitimately hurt in that interview... thought he was goint to cry... i hope Ja learns from this one
He's afraid he's watching a young man throw away what should be a promising future.
Just AJ looking square jawed and stone faced in utter silence for 6 minutes as he stares straight into the camera😂
As a man who owns dozens of firearms and believes wholeheartedly in the 2A... You cant just be going around waving your pieces in the air on socials. That goes for me or anyone, especially a man of his stature and following. Gun ownership is a MASSIVE responsibility that unfortunately not enough people grasp. It's obvious to me that Ja doesn't have the training nor awareness necessary to be packing around a firearm.
You speaking facts I own a couple and I feel like majority people own at least one or at bare minimum have held one personally …. What Ja has been doing isn’t a laughing matter and should be taken seriously like if I remember right platico buttress shot himself accidentally before like anything can happen especially if you playing around
@@royjones0824 Agreed
Absolutely! Only reason to pull it out is to use it. Not to “flex”
How is it any different from flashing gang signs?
@@gregorykeating3488 bullets.
Legit, Pac gave Ja some fantastic advice that he would probably listen to given what Pac has been through. You can tell it’s from the heart
Right. Meanwhile on other channels I don't even need to watch. I know what they are doing. Bashing him like its their daily segment. This is why this show is better. Atleast they are like yo you need help?
If pac gives you advice you listen
He aint listening lol
Pacman Jones is the *PERFECT* person to learn this lesson from.
Its so refreshing to really understand Pacman now. I remember the media torching this guy back in the day. I remember saying "damn this guy is just a jackass" im glad I was proven wrong. Pacman is a great person, friend and teammate and this show is proof of it.
He had the same problems back in the day hanging out with the wrong crowd
This. Not saying he was making all the right decisions, but the media paints images of people that more often than not don’t reflect the person behind it. T’s and P’s with all
“ I don’t want to be hood, I’m square “ love that we have men of courage, with wisdom who will speak out like that. Coming from Pat and others, unfortunately doesn’t carry as much weight. But coming from a man like PAC, that’s real. Because that dude has been through and seen some things that I hope you and I ever have to. Lord speak to that man, remind him of his worth. Not just financially but as a father, brother, friend, role model and everything else in between! He needs you, as do we all!!
Why cant he be a father brother and friend without playing in the NBA?
@@tjls123 no one said he couldn’t be. He could be without the NBA. But he’s a young superstar in the NBA. Who needs to reshuffle the deck of people in his life and get his priorities straight. If he wants to stay a superstar or just in the league period. He needs some good people around him, to help navigate him in the right direction. Before he loses everything he’s worked his entire life for. We’re talking about generational wealth possibly being lost, if he doesn’t reassess his priorities!!
Its not illegal to own a gun. It is also not illegal to hold the gun. So im not sure what exactly your asking for the Lords help with if its not for him keeping his job in the NBA. Thats the only thing at jeopardy right now.
He is worth over $80 million, that is already generational wealth, his kids will be fine my guy.
@@tjls123 I never said that he did anything illegal. I don’t care if he owns guns. I won dozens of them. But I treat them with respect and safety in mind. Despite the fact that it’s not illegal to own them. He is employed by a team and plays for a league and they have rules, regulations, code of conduct etc. so even though it’s not illegal, he can get in trouble, putting his future and wealth in jeopardy. Which was obviously made clear since has been reprimanded for something like this before. I asked the lord to speak to and guide him. Because he clearly doesn’t have the right people around him and he doesn’t understand/ care about the consequences of his actions. Sure he is worth 80 million but he could be worth and earn hundreds of millions more. If you know anything about the history of athletes ( and super stars ). Most of them are broke and/or bankrupt within a couple of years after they retire or get pushed out of the league in which they play. again, it’s not illegal and I never said that it was. I’m a huge supporter of the 2nd amendment and would never give up my weapons without a fight. But Ja is a public figure, who represents his team and his league. Who have made it clear that this type of behavior is not acceptable, as it doesn’t represent the team/leagues value. Especially considering the team/ league wants their players to be great and positive role models for the next generation. Ja should own as many weapons as he wants. He should get a license to carry any weapon he wants to carry. Wether for protecting himself and his family or simply for the fact that it’s his right to do so. Hell, he can even post videos of himself going out and shooting his weapons in a safe manner. But going around, acting like a fool, flashing weapons in a car. Isn’t being safe, responsible or respecting the weapons he has. But the biggest thing here is that regardless of wether or not it’s legal or illegal. he still works for a company that has rules that must be followed and if they are not. Then they have the right to punish their players as they see fit. Playing in one of the biggest leagues in the world is not a right, it is a privilege. So even though I am a huge supporter and advocate of the 2nd amendment. I still understand that as an employee of a company that has strict rules and guidelines. If I’m told there is a code of conduct and not obeying or respecting that code could result in lost wages or my job/ career. I would put myself, my family and my ability to provide for them first and would be a responsible gun owner. Again, not illegal to own, hold or even have a video of yourself with your weapon. But having multiple videos, that show you’re not being responsible and don’t care about the consequences that may come from that. Shows your true character as a man, employee and representative of the league you play for. It’s really not that hard to understand my OP or why this is an issue. No one has said that he’s not allowed to own or carry a gun. No one can take that right from you. But what he has done in those videos could be illegal in the state that he’s in if he doesn’t have a license or if he’s intoxicated/ under any influence of any kind while doing so. Which is the main issue at hand. ✌️✌️
@@tjls123 “ that’s the only thing at jeopardy right now “. No kidding, that’s precisely why I said the lord needed to speak to and guide him towards the right kind of people who will help prevent him from losing all that he has. Because EVERYTHING he has is because of his status as an athlete in the NBA. So, yeah, he definitely needs help and guidance from some wise men and women who have been through and dealt with things like this. Which is why PAC is the perfect person to go under his wing and learn from. Because he knows first hand what this type of lifestyle can lead to. Wether you’re a superstar/ athlete or just a regular guy. This type of behavior, doesn’t carry you down many roads, that lead to wealth and prosperity!
Ja is grown and has a kid. So the biggest share of the responsibility is on his shoulders. However, similar to someone who has a problem with drugs or alcohol, your circle has a big influence on how you act and your decision making. So in that regard he needs to cut people off. Even if they’re family. If they’re not encouraging and instead enabling you then they have no benefit.
You don’t know his friends or what they tell him or contribute yet you say he needs to cut them off. You’re tlkn out of your azz.
🙏🙏💯💯
Especially that guy who posted. Apparently this is is also the friend who got into it with the Pacers players and allegedly had red beams aimed at security after the game.
@@DLloyd-bb4wk yeah that same dude been around every incident from what I’ve read. Ja need to drop him fr or ole dude need to get his act together too. They ain’t 17. 23 is young but you’re still grown.

I can't help but think of that Bill Burr bit about white people and lotion: "If he only had just one white friend."
Dude 😂
NIN and Bill Burr fan, niccee!
I love Pacmans realization of '08 PR Devin Hester. Best to ever do it, real recognize real
Hester was a beast the previous seasons as well
@D O so was pac 08 though he pretty much carried us to the superb owl that's undeniable
We don't play with guns like that because we are taught from a young age to respect guns because they are dangerous if used like this.
Actually studies have shown that guns are much more dangerous when the trigger is pulled
You must be white
“Hundred barrel” 😂😂😂😂
Real talk Pacman is the perfect dude to steer him around. Remember the night club incident
Ja's parents may not have been the best influence, but he had a family home, he grew up in a good school system, and he had an opportunity to live in a neighborhood away from violence. Then he went to the NBA, made millions, and became an all-star. That is the kind of life and trajectory we should want for anyone. That doesn't have to come at the expense of demeaning people who come from a more difficult background, but Ja choosing to put on this front AFTER his success feels like it spits in the face of what he was given. Him putting on this front feels like its demeaning a life that would be beneficial for anyone else and was beneficial to him.
Ja needs a new group of friends. No true friend would allow or influence such destructive behavior to themselves
Ja's the leader of his group, don't matter whose around him he's gotta change before them.
You have somewhat of a point, but go rewatch the latest video. He saw the camera and then pulled out the gun. His friend had nothing to do with it, ja is a clown
Ja's friend was the one who put the camera away when Ja pulled that stick outta nowhere! Lol
Ja needs a new Ja 😆

Did Pac-Man actually call Jerry Jones or Wiseman?😂
Man, i have so much respect for Pac.
When i was young he was like NFL hoodlum #1, hes really grown as a man.
Its not his 2nd incident. Its just the second we know about.
Pacman is awesome and someone Ja could learn a lot from
Imagine having friends that cost you TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars - that's just beyond insane. No friend is worth more than you are, no friend is worth putting over yourself; PUT YOURSELF FIRST, because no one else is going to put you first. Not only will they not put you first, but they aren't going to be as careful with decisions they make around you as they are with the decisions they make for their own life. They aren't the ones losing out on tens of millions of dollars.
It's Ja in the most part
Ja is the problem. His friends ain't getting caught up in anything when he's not around. In fact it was his friend that pulled the camera away from Ja the moment his dumbass pulled that gun out.
The first time it happened he should have been suspended for the rest of the season. He got a slap on the wrist then did what other people who get wrist slaps do.
This. People looked at me crazy when I said Memphis needed to end his season to really show him consequences. Tf is 4 days of counseling smh
You couldn't suspend him the first time because it wasn't a crime, but the 2nd time after he was informed of how that image affected the league, there has to be tangible consequences.
It is a slippery slope to punish people for things that aren't crimes if they aren't informed it is wrong in your organization.
Many people are still upset about Ime Udoka losing his job because cheating isn't a crime and the relationship was consensual by their own definition.
Some people find it hard to see people punished over allegations of wrongdoing. This isn't even actual wrongdoing in the eyes of a lot of society and isn't wrongdoing in the eyes of the law.
I believe he deserves a suspension but the first incident shouldn't have resulted in a 20-30 game ban. Also, the NBA let the Grizzlies decide the punishment since the Grizzlies are a business themselves.
@@EatingHotIceCream I said that on day one. It’s sad that clown’s like Jalen Rose and ESPN just brushed it off to get more money out of him just for the playoffs. I say year suspension and REAL therapy not just some bs retreat.
You made me spit out my coffee at "Do you need a 100 barrel?". I don't even know what it is, but now I need one.
Thanks Pac Man for being the only one willing to help instead of throwing stones
Very proud of PAC for calling out the terrible influence that is modern music
Modern music 😅 gangster rap has been around for a while .. it’s ultimately about the culture being promoted and emulated
Pac man “I wanna be square, I don’t wanna be hood.” 😂😂😂
Love PAC he’s always straight up and he’s been there and knows the road already
So glad Pac is apart of this program. Always love his input; and certainly love his shirt today.
Absolute favorite part is pac man at the end “ I don’t wanna be hood” 😂
Pac’s a real one. Hope Ja talks with him
Somebody buy Ja a Barbeque grill and a(used) refrigerator for his beer and tell him to stay home all summer and only invite 3 friends over to party and no extra invites. keep it to a low roar.
Bingo. That's the play for sure
Someone’s got to put a par 3 hole in his backyard, that grill, some beers, and smacking some balls is always a great afternoon
I carry my gun around everywhere and I never forget the responsibility that it requires to carry one. I actually have a trigger guard on all of my guns, Kydex holder, safety always on (I will never buy a trigger safety gun), etc. Gun ownership requires a great deal of responsibility. Also, I would never go around flashing my gun. Its something I'd rather people don't know I have just in case there is a situation I need to use it.
Couldn’t agree with you more, you understand it. Thank god I’ve gained a little faith in humanity
Shannon sharpe said something similar today. The ones that know when to use guns don’t go around showing them off. Otherwise some people gonna check you to see if you ‘really bout that life’
That’s a good point some people seem to think that the gun itself is the issue when it’s not it’s the combination of his reckless action with the gun and the flaunting while being a brand figure head. I personally don’t care what he does but I understand people being upset with his stupidity and especially when he has everything to lose and most importantly he has a daughter
It’s all about being responsible. I will only show my gun if I really need to. Always best to be low key, never bring attention to yourself
@@Eztyc Surpised Shannon has a gun. Seems like the type of guy that would be super against them no matter what.
Pac would be the perfect mentor at this point.
Very well said Pacman
The absolute best take I’ve heard on this subject
Pac man said he felt like he was the best punt returner 06-07 bruh trippin that was devin hester rookie season😂
Fair enough, but also teams were not game planning to shut down a rookies game whereas an established dominate player will get more game planning attention .. who’s better? The kick returner who never rarely gets an opportunity to return balls because teams don’t want to kick to him or the rookie who catches teams lacking 😅 it’s a tough debate
Great take. Love this show.
Jeremiah Phillips - We gonna call him Ja Wick😂
Love It Pat The Pat McAfee Show Bro
losing 39 million Is wild to think about as an individual
Ja knew he was on live. The camera literally cut to him 3x before the gun came out.
I really appreciate and respect this conversation. I do hunt and I also own multiple firearms. But you are spot on with your comment about irresponsible gun ownership and handling. Responsible gun ownership is something that is absolutely vital, especially with everything else going on. Great to hear Pat and Pac Man's inputs in this.

As a school teacher, I feel bad for these kids that are like this. Even though they do not grow up in this hood-like environment, some strive to adopt that image, even when they don't need to.
So as a teacher the solution might be? Read Thomas Sowell and form proper mentorship relationships within the profession.. call out sick culture and follow a proven path?
