Carpe Diem, Latin term meaning: “Seize the Day!”
I prefer Carpe noctum...
Dead Poet Society
Yesss😊
Profite de ce jour présent .
( Dès demain, il ne sera plus qu'hier ... )
Tempus fugit .
Great finds Nora!
carpe diem, Latin for pluck the day or seize the day, to enjoy life while one can, love watching you find good treasure :)
Night-diving adds a whole new dimension to treasure hunting. Love Love Love the Amalfi Coast with its hillside villages! Thanks for taking me along Nora ❤️
Yesss thanks Peter 😊 🙏
Hearing the noise of the air escaping your snorkel brings back many memories. That background noise under water is so cool I ran fishing charters in Florida and dove 5x a week for most of my 24 year career. That sound was always present.
Another great dive & video Nora.
For night diving I have a small light that attaches to my mask strap, on the side. Then, wherever I look the light is shining there. Helps if you need to drop the light in your hand and still be able to get a light on what you are looking at. Great dive, you found some amazing stuff on that one. Love seeing your mom and that you travel together.
@10:30. Black and shiny, it's probably Hematite.
Carpe Diem means Seize the day, or make the most of today.
“Seize the day” for sure! Your mom is the sweetest. She always brings a smile to my face. ☮️💟 @norasvet Did you go back to the beach?
This has to have been one of your most productive dives ever! The Amalfi Coast is on my bucket list, hope to see it someday soon.
Wonderful hunt Nora! Love the gold necklace!! The stone bracelet looks to be obsidian..nice. Carpe diem, a phrase that comes from the Roman poet Horace, means literally "Pluck the day", though it's usually translated as "Seize the day".
Awesome finds! Beautiful scenery
Wow...what a beautiful village. I love the architecture. This has to be one of your most successful hunts. Your Mom has a wonderful sense of humor. Tell her if she ever needs a break from visiting all those scenic places, spending the day on the beach watching your stuff and having to endure all those wonderful little cafes and restaurants, I'd gladly fill in for her. Thanks for sharing this adventure.
You will not get views with videos like this.
Love to see all your neat finds and the unique places that you detect.
Also great to see you have your Mom with you also as Family is Everything ❗️
Sending you Good Luck from the State of North Carolina!🇺🇲
Cool video Nora! That spot at night seemed fun! The Latin ring says “seize the day”!
Keep em coming!
Carpe diem, Latin expression meaning " seize the day " Nora, very apt for you. Great dive.
Think that's one of the best finding adventure I've seen you do! Awesome finds. As always, love seeing your mom.
So glad you decided to go back for a night dive. You made some good scores. Love mom's with you. What wonderful memories your making together. Hugs from your biggest Indiana fan.
Great underwater treasure hunting👍this inscription on the ring "Carpe diem" means - live a moment , exactly "seize the day"😉. Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱❤️👍👌
Carpe Diem =
cease the day ;)
You're right but generally the meaning of the sentence is that life is a moment 👍and you must seize the day😉
i would just like to say from watching your videos i admire your honesty you always try your best to be as honest as possible by returning things to people that the stuff you find may belong to just thought id comment about that.
I really like the sound effects on when you find something good.
Hy Nora i realy enjoy your videos for almost 2 years now. I was just watching another channel metal detecting also in Amalfi. Bondi Treasure Hunter. Must be a popular place for metal detecting!
Wow that place is beautiful.
Carpe Diem means 'Seize The Day'. Great video and what a beautiful part of the world you get to enjoy daily.
The black stone bracelet may be obsidian. Some people wear this to repel the negative. Also may be black tourmaline..same use. (Hi Mom!)
Very cool, thank you! 😊
Carpe diem, a phrase that comes from the Roman poet Horace, means literally "Pluck the day", though it's usually translated as "Seize the day".
Seize the day! Well done on your great finds, i hope you and your mum are having a wonderful time.
Nice finds specially in the dark it looks nice and relaxed and chilled out of the night time
Hi, Nora (and hello Nora's mom). I'm glad you had your mom with you on the beach while you went for your 2nd dive. Fantastic treasure haul and I bet there's even more waiting to be found. Nice coin total, too. Loved the silver bracelet, silver rings and the, as yet to be confirmed 🤞🏽, gold necklace. Amazed you found another white gold ring.. and it's a 14K one!! Well done, Nora 👏🏽
Thanks for sharing. Stay healthy and safe, you two 👍🏽 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Thank youuu 😊🙏
Awesome hunt and finds, thx for taking us along
Great dive.I never tire watching you and thanks for the world tours.
Carpe Diem means Seize the Day! You found a lot coins. The rings people lose swimming. It’s great to salvage this from the ocean. I am trying to find the best metal detector for underwater use. I’m overseas and tune in a lot.
First video of yours I got it recommended, and I love the editing when you find something cool! Keep up the good work!
Fun haul as always - the stone beads (can't tell from video for sure) would most likely be onyx if they are black and may have a faint amount of translucent-ness if under strong light, black agate if a bit more opaque-ness and I thought I heard your mom say sparkles, would be Moon stone if dark blue black with tiny reflective gold specks. If not natural stone than they could be glass beads made either by Czeck or China.
Some of your finest work is done during the night time hours! Thanks for sharing.
AWESOME.....
Greetings from bali Indonesia
😊🙏
"Carpe diem" is in latin. It comes from a poem by Horace and the english traduction would be "seize the day". The whole sentence is "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero", which (in my own quick traduction) means something like "Seize the day without beleiving in tomorrow". In french, we use it a lot as a way of saying "enjoy the present moment while it passes". In other words, it is like a more refined way of saying YOLO, haha
What a haul! What a great day detecting! And with Mom! Glad you carpe’d that diem!
Lolll thank you 🙌
Hi from the U.K. Nice white gold ring, perseverance pays off. Personally I prefer to get down to the sea 30 minutes or so before sunrise whilst the water is calm (usually) and there aren't many people about. The sun gradually lights up and then you feel its warmth - so calming. "Seize the day" - absolutely !
Yesss morning dives are great but I'm not great at waking up early😅 thanks David!
By the look of the stones on the bracelet and the fact that it glowed ... To me hints that it is Obsidian a natural semi-precious stone. Its is up there in the hardness scale as a verry hard stone witch makes it difficult to polish, but once it is polished it will keep its polish for a very long time! They have found polished obsidian in the pyramids that was thousands of years olkd in the sand that looked just like it was polished yesterday.
Great find! Love your channel and its content 💖 Keep it coming ! 🥰
Complimenti Nora. Ciao a te e mamma.👍👋👋👋
Wow ! Lots of targets and GOLD !!!!!!!!!
Night time is the right time! Good job, girl!
Enjoyed the hunt! Always fun when you have your momma with you, tell her hi from Ms. Leslie (me). Family always
What Great adventures! Love your added ka-ching coin sound when you find a coin!
Thank you! 😃 🙏
Spectacular videos and scenery always enjoy watching your channel thx!
12.30 minutes: Carpe Diem: a Latin expression meaning "seize the day", used for saying that people should enjoy the present rather than worrying about the future. Kind regards from The Netherlands
Thank you Ron 🙏
I like your extra footage at the end. You are enjoyable to watch.
Great day. Going for a beach hunt tomorrow myself. Best of luck on your next one!
Nice video Nora, those rings were nice. The places you go are awesome. I like when you're mother is with you.
Nice haul... The anchor charm is actually a real anchor, Mini Cooper starting making small sail boats and I believe that might be an anchor for one.
Hahaha 😄
You are so cool to take your mom with you. Love your channel keep up the good work.
Thank you 🙏
Carpe diem, Is roman for pluck the day, or more commonly Translate as
Seize the day. Keep making the great videos Nora and good luck. 😎
Some great treasure Nora ( your most valuable has to be Mum, she is such a great supporter! )👍🇨🇦
Nora hai fatto una grande pesca ad Amalfi🇮🇹👋🇮🇹
This is so awesome of what you found on your night dive! 🌙 I think you did better than what you did during the day. Cool stuff you found and money as well. Not to shabby!
Your night dive was so great and a new experience! Totally awesome in a new kind a way... thank you so much
I have been to Amalfi and remember a really neat restaurant carved inside a cliff.
Beautiful beach!!!!Thanks for the adventure!!!Lots of nice finds!!!!!
Nora what an incredible dive as always stopped to see your treasure hunt Happy Days
The little guitar riff when you found "metal" made me laugh. Great finds. When you find something like the necklace without a clasp, I wonder why somebody was wearing it at all when swimming.
😄🤘
Looks like Fun stuff. Wish i could go on an adventure like that.
My daughter adores the video and got her first medal detector this summer. She wanted to say after watching this video,” I love the video and the bracelet is igneous. I have igneous rock so I could recognize it and I love your videos they’re the best”
The bracelet might be jade- choose an out-of-sight location and see if it will scratch with a steel knife. If it will not scratch the stone, but rather scrapes off the steel... then you have jade (either jadeite or more likely nephrite). If the stone scratches (meaning it is softer than steel), I would guess serpentine. Carpe Diem- "Seize the Day" also the motto of the US Marine Corps.
Ooou I'm gonna have to try that but the stones have a blue-ish shimmer to them when I hold the light up to it
There are over 30 color grades of jade - from white to black and almost every color in between. And there is even a blue jadeite- although it is rare. If the bracelet feels a bit gritty, it’s probably a type of sandstone. With that blueish tint, it could also be a stone called chalcedony. Chalcedony is also softer than jade on the mohs scale, so it would scratch with that steel test. I’m also a diver with over 500 dives around the world. Love the videos!
Sweet finds and a kool nite treasure hunt 🤘
You did Carpe Diem (Seize the day) :) Bondi Treasure Hunter is on the Amalfi coast at the moment. Try and catch up with him if you are still there.
The advantage in night diving with flaslights is that all the good stuff sparkles. And it's more exciting and romantic.
Like each time.....perfect!
Hi Nora! I thought about you today, as I was taking a break from photographing fish and octopus to explore the beach where people swim. Right where the sand slopes down and meets the rocky bottom I saw what I thought was a gold charging cable. A good pull and I got it out. Turned out it was a 14k gold necklace, from Italy! Ciao!
Thanks Nora for an adventure
The engraving on the ring "Carpe Diem" is Latin. Roughly translated to English Carpe is Capture, seize, pluck, pick (as in choose). Diem is a Latin word for Day. It's a phrase for, basically, wishing good luck. "Seize the day".
Love, love the gold necklace.
When hunting packed summer beaches ,early morning or night is the only option.still soon be autumn an the beaches will be less crowded.mike
OH YEAH! Metal is back !! 🎸 🥁
😂
The lock went to a chastity belt, it wasn't cut or unlocked so I don't know what happened! Thanks for taking us along again Nora! You are so fun and adorable! The anchor went to a really small boat... Carpe Diem, seize the day! (or night!)
Another super hunt Nora! Can't wait for the next adventure. Thank you!
Great finds. Congrats.
Cool finds Nora. If you're able, I would dive at night again. That's an awesome site. I'm sure there's a lot more to be found at that location.
Your button may have been a draw pull. Great video with all kinds of great finds. Congrats.
Good one. Especially loved the pinky in the air with morning coffee. 👍🙂🙏
Haha thanks Dave😊☕️
Really nice finds
Hey you might want to rethink night diving , yes you found a couple good thing in the dark, but using the detector, makes vibration, your bubbles, make noise , your light attracts fish , fishermen use lights to attract fish , and your light shows your flippers, with all the noise, vibration, and flippers, you might look like a big distressed fish , and attract sharks looking for a easy meal! I think that would a little more dangerous than I could do ! Be safe, love your videos!
I was thinking the same thing actually 😅 I definitely wouldn't do this in the Bahamas or anywhere else know for lots of shark activity 🦈
Great job Nora
Good Morning Nora, great video as always good to see your Mom as well have a wonderful day

Way to go Nora !! Lots of cool finds! Just wondering if you sell most of your rings etc. or do you just have an awesome collection in jars on the shelf somewhere ?
12:27 Seize the day! 😊
Carpe Diem❤❤❤❤. Pretty awesome! Learning something new with you every day. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful adventures! We love you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Tina!!🥰
Wow what an awesome hunt. It was like an underwater jewelry shop, lol.
“Carpe Diem” was made famous by the late great actor/comedian Robin Williams in the movie Dead Poets Society. It is Latin and means “seize the day”. It was originally used by the Roman Poet Horace and means to live each day to it’s fullest and enjoy every day.
Wooow, that is a what is called cool adventure! Nora, you have to know probably the gold chain is an antique. Also you do not need to exhaust your self to much. Just if you are ther for longer time, you always can go diving at the early morning next day. Good job, again! Bravo!
..p.s. the trash button is a nech from old toothpaste pack, made from aluminum. :) 😀
carpe diem (seize the day), phrase used by the Roman poet Horace to express the idea that one should enjoy life while one can...
thats a cool find,, id wear that one but i got small hands an that looked humongous 🤪🤪
cool beans Nora 😎😎👍👍
Carpe Diem-Siege the Day ring. Good find.
Fun Video!!! Carpe Diem!!! Seize the Day! Keep finding that SHINY!
Awesome hunt and no nighttime sharks. That place was loaded!
