Makes a grandpa very pleased to see a lovely young granddaughter doing well and enjoying her life... Blessed you child 🕊️🙏☝️🌹 You can clean silver with cider.
Heyyyyy!!! I feel so honored we made it to the highlight reel! 🥰 It made me a little nostalgic of all our fun trips. What a great year! Cheers to another amazing year of successful dives!
I really enjoy your photography as well as your diving finds. You've been to the most beautiful places on planet Earth. The extra little photo shots make it interesting to watch especially playing with the wildlife under the sea! Thanks for sharing and much luck for the new year in expanding your best finds!
Soak in vinegar, scrub with a good tooth brush, rinse well and completely dry. Repeat if necessary. I collect antique and vintage jewelry and this is how I clean.
Silver cleaning ":::: for a palm full of silver (rings/chains etc) , line a soup bowl with aluminium foil and place jewellery in bowl. Boil kettle and cover jewellery with hot water. 1tbl spoon salt, 1 tbl spoon bicarbonate in a cup and hot water to make a paste, then pour over jewellery in bowl with aluminium foil, give it a little stir to disperse paste, and leave for an hour till cold. Rinse off under cold water. ✔ Done.
Bonjour Nora,je vois que la France t'a permis de faire de belles découvertes et rencontres. Je vous souhaite une bonne fête de fin d'année. La bise😍😍😍😍🇨🇵🇨🇵
Hi Nora ,excellent recap , your work in videography is supreme and I can say I was with you on all those finds , you walked up mountains for us , went into swamps and springs for us , fought ocean waves in California and now you are in one of the most beautiful places I've seen you swim in Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR (meow)
was a great year for you and all the treasure you have found, but I think we all miss out on all of the trash you pull out of the ocean, rivers, creeks, streams and ponds. I do find that one of the best things you do. someone did not cut a vacation short getting cut, or a trip to the ER for stitches and get tangled in fishing line. thank you Nora always a great adventure with you! TY for all you do. :)
Accidental treasure finds in my own backyard! I bought a house in 1993, in Columbus, Ohio. The house was built around 1905,....so a lot of history in the ground. Before organized trash pickups, were a thing, people threw their trash into holes in their yards. While I was digging in the soil to establish a garden,....and not more than a foot down, I found collectible patent medicine bottles. A couple were green glass, other ones were clear glass. One had Art Deco stylings. One bottle was from a local Columbus, early soda pop company. (1900s) The bottles would have had a glass marble stopper. Then I found some plated silver spoons, & forks, a very rusted lead army soldier. The best find,.....again not very deep in the soil,.....an engagement ring for the 1970s. It was actually gold and had the tiniest diamond chip in it. The largest thing I unearthed, but I leave it to the next owner of my house to un-bury, is a water cistern. It is in the middle of my yard, very far from the actual house, and is also not more than 14 inches down in the ground. Reading up on them, they were never meant to be a way to collect rain water, for consumption. They were exclusively used to collect rain water, for utility use. Like watering one's garden, or perhaps washing one's Model T auto. It is quite large, about 10 foot in diameter, and 12 foot deep. It is made out of arc shaped bricks,...there is a top access hole, that a slender man could perhaps go into with a ladder, to clean the interior out. It was mostly filled in with dirt,....and who knows, there may be treasures, underneath the dirt.
this is really cool however you might want to invest in a tarnish rag. the steel wool will just scratch up the silver but a polishing cloth will clean it while shining it
Hello! Just discovered your videos.. they’re awesome! Word of advice… don’t clean your jewelry with steel wool… even though they’re metal, metal can be scratched very easily. Especially, silver. Try to find a jewelry cleaner to soak them in or something. Something like Steele wool can wreak havoc on your Cartier jewelry or anything else.
You had an amazing year, congrats! I live in Florida & hit the beach yesterday & today for my last hunts of the year. Got 2 rings yesterday & 1 today. I'm ready for 2022 👍
A year has passed and a year to come. Everyone is moving forward in life. As for the days and months, the numbers change only. Happy New Year 2022 From Morocco to the world
I am speechless! Beautiful video footage before and after the findings! So incredible nice treasures, make's me wonder of it's history? I just wish you could find all this treasure in one episode. Want to wish you and your friends a Happy New year 🙂
Clean silver by putting aluminum foil in the sink place the silver item on the foil pour a large amount of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) over the silver then pour very hot water onto the item and baking soda all tarnish will leave silver and attach to the foil..
What great season you've had Nora. i think your best find this year was your friend Fabrizio! You 2 were made for each other. Happy New Year and happy hunting.
Happy New Year Nora! I hope 22 brings you many more treasures and adventures. Been a fan since you started! You've come a long way! Thank you for sharing with us all!
Hey Nora, doubt you'll see this, but I'll say it anyways. I've been watching you for a while now, and I can tell you are a really good and kind person, that your not putting on an act for UA-cam. Happy new years, hope you find even more amazing treasures! Love from Pennsylvania, good luck!
What a summer you had. With all the travel and effort you put into each find I'd say there's not one piece of junk in the whole lot. Have you considered using a sonic cleaner on some of the more delicate items? I think the patina adds to the beauty of some of older pieces. I won't ask which place or dive was your favorite because I'm sure each has its own special story or memory. Thank you so much for taking me along on your adventures this year. I look forward to watching you explore 2022.
Very glad to have found this channel. Great video, scenery, treasure, and youthful smiles and giggles. Just what the doctor ordered. Happy New Year! Many more!
@Nora Svet with the amount of Jewelry you find I'd definitely consider purchasing an ultrasonic cleaner. It would eliminate the scrubbing at the very min.
Great year guys, you folks found some very nice pieces of jewellery. Don't forget about all the watches and phones that you found, probably made a lot of people happy. Keep doing those incredible video's and photography, you guys have been to some beautiful places. "Best of 2022"
You can clean your silver if you set them in a pan with aluminum foil at the bottom of it and you put vinegar and baking soda in there and stir it up it will clean them really nice.
That’s so kewl, I remember watching both of you finding most of your treasure’s, thanks for sharing such awesome videos. Hope both of you had a wonderful new year’s eve.
Hi nora im a disable in wheelchair that still goes metal detecting love it but havnt found any gold yet but one day i hope its big lots of coins but nothing to brag about lol you got all the luck hope you find that big pot of gold one day hope to see more incredible finds take care be safe.
As for cleaning the ornate bracelet and really a lot of your finds, have you considered an ultrasonic cleaner. With the right cleaning solutions, you would not have to fight with items like steel wool. Just something to think about. Happy New Year to the both of you.
A general rule - silver is too soft to hold a diamond for one thing, and for another, a jeweler would never mount an extremely expensive stone into a cheaper metal like silver. Silver is paired with crystal, or sometimes a semi precocious stone if any. This is also why most wedding bands and all diamond rings will never exceed 18 karat gold. It would lose it's shape over time and the diamond would fall out.
Wow, you really stepped it up from the previous year. BTW, I think the stainless, titanium, and tungsten rings are great finds, too. They may not be precious metal, but they are still pretty pricey at retail, and I've some makers mix some of these metals with gold and diamonds, when making the bands. Congrats!
Very well put together Nora! Your finds are awesome. Your friend put it wisely that junk isn’t really junk. You both are quite a team. Love the hunts and your editing is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Enjoyed the dance! Nora I've been meaning to ask you, have you ever been to Bosnia and Herzegovina at Kravis Falls? Great place for you and your mother to visit. Be a awesome place to scuba detect, place is beautiful and huge. God Bless you and your mother and Happy New Year! (Glen). WV.
Wow, that looks a lot like the island Sardinia, I was stationed there in the early 90s and it was an absolute blast for this land-locked Arizona guy 😆 Terrific compilation, you both racked up the treasure! I think The Algorithm brought me here as I recently bought a detector and am going down the rabbit hole. Looking forward to more amazing finds, thanks for sharing!
Hi, Nora. A nice way to end out the year with this video. I remembered quite a few of the ring finds. I'd say you had a very successful summer and I'm betting that 2022 will be even more of a success. I still think you'll find that 3+ carat diamond ring but have upgraded to it either being gold or platinum. Wishing you a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year 😊 🍾🎊 Stay safe 👍🏽 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
just a tip on cleaning silver, i use baking soda with warm water, you can use that with a toothbrush as well and brush the silver, it will not scratch. i use that on silver coins and works very well without polishing it so details stay original. Amazing finds, i love your videos

Nora,
I’m glad you helped the grand dad find his ring. You can tell he was really glad you were there to help.

you should get yourself an ultrasonic cleaner, would work great for all those intricate things without damaging them at all
GOOD VIDEOS ,, NORA...Happy new year
Tooth paste works great to clean silver. I know close up and Colgate works. Some better then others. But will look new in mins with out scratches.
Happy New Year Nora, what do you use to clean the items you find
I use Denture cleaner, Lacquer Thinners and (Flight) Hand Cleaner on coins.
To clean these you a vibrating timber with corn cob media and a polish. It’s how I do my brass.
