Nice find for the coin, a 3 grana issued under the Napoleon's french occupation of Naples, the guy in the coin is Joachim Murat, King of Naples from 1808 to 1815
The 'some sort of cap' is a part of a drain plug from a sink, the nut is a part of a water tap, the tube is an adapter for a hose onto a water line and the copper coin with the slots is a typical Italian invention for emergency money as it was needed in the years 70. They were also in use a telephone coins. Last but not least; the U-shaped piece of metal seems to be a part of a (very old) belt buckle.
The coin with grooves is a token, the word "docce" means "showers", you use it to have a hot shower at the beach. Be aware that showing ancient coins or any other ancient artifact could make you into throuble here in Italy.
Hey Nora, great dive mate. At 4:24 that hook thingy is actually a picture frame hook. t hooks onto the picture rail and then the small end is used to hang the picture on, usually made of brass. Great assortment of finds Be safe and Happy Hunting Brad
Bottom right is a picture hook that would’ve hung over a wooden picture rail that went around the room(they were used extensively as a practical fashion must-have from Victorian era through to 1930s). The biggest item is a nozzle of a fire hose, likely off a boat - it would polish up nicely on a buffing machine.
Hi Nora, I am a silly old 68 pensioner from the UK , I have just bought myself a metal detector, everytime I watch your vid I want to go out treasure hunting lol , at the moment my haul is screws, rusty nails and bottle tops ( sighs ) , great vid waves and hugs from the UK 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
@@jtec99 hi rod I live near Hadrian's Roman wall all historical sites are a big no go areas , and could lead to prison/jail , any one want to buy Henry the viii gold crown !!! Only kidding Mr policeman !!!! Hides 👋👋
Nora…this ravioli looks goooood 😀 Always nice to see Mama Bear. You finding the old coin makes me wonder what lies deeper down. These beaches have been frequented for thousands of years, there’s gotta be good stuff buried deeper. Cute dress! Thanks for taking me along!
The coin type object with the deep grooves is as you say a token, probably from an arcade or locker. The "S" shaped copper coloured object wider at one end is a picture hanger for a wall with an architrave around the top, the wide end goes over the architrave and you hang whatever on the small end.
This was such a great video. Killing Me Softly I’ve heard on radio stations here my whole life. Neat to see that live there. Whoever was singing that sounded really good. Nice to see you with your mom again. I just love your mom. 🙂 That really old coin was a museum piece if I ever saw one. Treasure that one Nora. As is usual another wonderful video from you. Take care of yourself and that sweet mom of yours. 🙂
Hi, Nora (and hello Nora's mom). I was beginning to worry that you and/or your mom may not have been well or something had gone wrong, so I'm happy to see this video. An interesting hunt with some very cool finds.. specifically the 3 Grana coin, the devotional medal and the silver ring. More trash items removed too. Your shrimp and pasta meal looked delicious. What better way to end the night than with a concert. Thoroughly enjoyed your content. Thanks for sharing. Stay healthy and safe, you two 👍🏽 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
The large circular flat donut find is a shim, used to take up any play on a shaft between moving objects. Basically a large thin washer but used slightly differently to a washer.
Dont polish that ring immediately after finding or any other rings like it, put them in a tumbler (lortone is widly used in the JC industry) with stainless steel pins made specifically for this job, the pins will not destroy the ring and in fact can both remove the tarnish safely and help work harden the surface of the ring so it retains its luster after its been polishd
All of your videos are so entertaining! I just wish that one day I could have the opportunity to treasure hunt underwater in that location. So much history is in that location. I get excited researching the history of a location before hunting it.
As always this one was well worth the wait. That old coin was a pretty spectacular find. It's been so long I can't remember the last time I had ravioli. I was 12 yrs old when "Killing Me Softly" by Roberta Flack was released. Thanks for sharing this adventure from another breathtaking location.
That piece of pipe likely once had threads and has hex flats for a large wrench. Possibly a flexible hose might be slipped over the enlarged end for low pressure transfer of liquid. You and Mom looked lovely.
It was the most amazing voice I've ever heard " killing me softly " 😉❤️ great finds👍 this medal and coin from the 19th centaury is awesome 👍 greetings from Poland 🇵🇱❤️✌️
Nora just wanted to let you know I saw the video on last night on you answering questions and found out how you fund your trips. I love that you are such a free sprint. Keep the great videos coming.
Finally a new video! 🙌 That was alot of garbage in such a nice place, probably from a boat overall repairing. The ancient coint( The Roman's one) is very very cool , I like it 👌 The gray pendant is probably silver. Good job! Good luck and be health!
Hi Nora. Great channel! It was somehow recommended to me recently and I've seen a few of your videos. Nicely done! Random questions (sorry if they are dumb). 1) Does your underwater metal detector work on land outside of the water? And, if not, 2) Are there hybrid metal detectors that both in and out of the water...such as something that would be great on the beach? Thanks! And keep up the great work on your videos.
Nora I love those old relics you find over there Australia's a little young a country to have much like that maybe one day I'll get to some places like that cheers again!!
Nora the lore of the wishing well is that you face away from the well, and then throw the coin over your shoulder into the water, and if it misses the water, it will not come true
you found all typical target when you do metal detector on a italy beach XD that token is from pay shower on a local seaside, that big coin is a fantastic found pendant too
5:46 I'd say that's because countries like Mexico and in Europe have healthier food. They're not as GMO ridden as the food in the U.S. That's why a lot of expats who had a very limited choice of foods in the U.S. are able to have a more varied selection of foods abroad. I went to Mexico on vacation several years ago and I gorged on food and I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks (no Montezuma's Revenge jokes). You can just taste the difference outside the U.S.
Good morning Nora. Nice to see a video this morning 👍 Pasta doesn't have any calories if you're in Italy 😆 but it's probably all the walking and snorkeling you're doing. Plus portions in Europe are more reasonable than they are in the US.
Just stumbled upon your channel and have subscribed! Fun activity and so wholesome that you and your mom are doing these trips together. Keep up the great work!!

Since you don't want to sell any of those lovely things that you find, Nora (and I am very happy that you don't want to profit personally from them, since after all, someone else had to either lose or sadly discard them for whatever reason, like a disgruntled spouse/lover's tossing his wedding and/or engagement rings), you could donate them to a local historical society ("That beLONGS in a muSEUM!"), so that current and future generations can enjoy them. :)
Ladies and Gentlemen, live and onstage, NO-ra SVET!!! (Crowd goes wild!) What a great video. It was fun, and full of great finds. We’ve all been missing you.
1:12 Just F.Y.I., Nora: if you wanna really be super-helpful to mankind overall --- just the same as you do with cleaning up the trash --- you could **move those sandals up the beach** a few yards, so that they don't wash away in the incoming tide. Juss sayin'. :D :D

Love those two old finds. It's not often I come across old coins, but you are certainly in the right place for it.
Yeah really cool to find! Too bad the sea did a number on them😅
I wish you made longer metal detecting vlogs. Thank you for sharing ♥️

Amazing metal detecting

There was a river running into the sea right at that beach which mean LOTS of trash😅
The bigger object looks like a boat fitting that screws in on one side and then has a hose connected to the other. Could be for coolant??
Fun time playing in the rocks. I had a theory that Large Yachts equals more treasure. Not so this time. Nice meal and concert.
