Ive owned two. A 2017, and 2018 limited edition, but now am leaning towards a Navigator after seeing the reviews. Still love the QX80's. You're the Best at vehicle reviews. Love the honesty.
I just bought a 2020 QX80 Luxe for $39,000 with only 34,000 miles….and the main reason why is because of its better reliability compared to all its competitors, except maybe the Lexus….The low maintenance cost more than makes up for its bad fuel economy.
I've owned escalade and expedition, both has tons of trouble right after the purchase, so returned after the lease is over. Now I drive a qx80, without any issue after 3 years. The domestic truck looks nicer, and spec is better. But this one is so reliable and practical.
I absolutely agree with your segment about the turn signals located on the lower part of the rear bumper: what a ridiculous, inconvenient and unsafe choice. I personally love the QX80, but what was Infiniti thinking when they did that. Thanks for pointing it out in your video.
This SUV saved our lives. Involved in head-on collision on ice. When the Dodge Ram hit our ourQX80 went into a spin and slammed into another car on passenger side. No one was hurt. The QX80 computers sensed airbags not needed. The Infinity QX80 saved our lives. We are in process of buying another QX80.
I had a 2007 MB GL 450. Nice vehicle, lots of problems. All warrantied but pain in the ass. I then got a 2013 GL 350 Bluetek. Beautiful vehicle, loved the diesel which is no longer available. Paid $82,500 cdn loaded. Went to replace that with a 2021 GL 450, $125 k!! No fckin way. Got a 2021 QX80 exactly like the one shown, $90k cdn. $35 k cheaper that the MB. Tows 8500 lbs Vs MB 7000. I love it. More truck like than the GL. Has plenty on technology for me as a boomer. Most of the higher priced SUVs have technology I don’t need or use. Infiniti is a great vehicle and value.
The car market is literally scattered with better options. I probably wouldn’t feel that way if Infiniti would just…try, especially since there is absolutely no reason for this to be 88 GRAND!!!!! Even with inflation, this thing should have lost money😂 and even though you gave it some love, your quality review cannot hide the fact that the market has moved on while this thing has settled in yesteryear.
The large luxury SUV segment has gone up dramatically in price, so while I agree with your points, weirdly the QX80 is a value play when it's a good $10-20k cheaper than competitors with similar equipment. And remember it's a got a really good V8 and trick hydraulic suspension.
@@cliffcarreviews but 88K?! The V8 is definitely a winner, but they’ve had 10+ years to change it up, and in 10+ years all they could come up with is a bigger infotainment screen that’s limited in its features and abilities? Give me a Honda CRV then my man 😂
I do like the exterior looks of the qx80 more than the Armada, but considering the Armada has as many features and cost about $20 grand less, I vote for the Armada. The $20 grand you save might even cover the first year gas and insurance cost too !
I have watched about a dozen QX80 reviews, but this is the best one. Learned more about the suspension and AWD system.

2022 Infiniti QX80 continues to evolve ... Slainte' ! Cheers !

Agreed…that why I bought a QX80
Great review
Great review Cliff. QX80 is the only Infiniti product I like but it is still overpriced. This segment is so expensive.
Get the Armada to save $$$
Seen one of these yesterday
Stands out it is definitely a real truck

The Sequoia is a much better vehicle from top to bottom!
@@gregholman2930 totally agree 💯

@@trewilliams54321 You're right! It is crazy. For this vehicle someone would be better off in a loaded Armada for $20K less

Idk about y’all but if I got this beast the first thing I would do is slap some heavy all terrain tires on it and test out that 4WD
I have the 2012 QX56 400 horses 4wd loaded it’s a beast
$88k for gas every year
Really solid SUV but not worth 88k
So many ignorant comments.
All of those mosquitoes! 😬
Yeah, spring is no one's friend!
@@cliffcarreviews burn them right quick!
2:39 so dumb you cant even see the mmm when you sit behind them in traffic
Same infotainment as 2023 Altima
Infiniti needs to stop being lazy
Ah No Thanks, I'd Much More Prefer The Sequoia!
That’s a 60K truck WHEN NEW 10+ years ago an it was overpriced then. With its Nissan plastics ! Ud be better off with a Escalade or Jeep GWagoneer
Terrible value
To my eye this SUV is an ugly looking thing, it has the face only a mother could love! Give me the Audi Q7 every day of the week.
Great review.
