Be interested to see how you are getting on wirh this bike. Mine started to develop cracks on the fork around the top caliper bolt mount and on the outer surface of when the axle bolts to the fork.

@@Funky_Geek been getting on fine with it, but having said that it has only done 968km so far, so about 600 miles. No cracks yet.

Mr D, nice to see you’ve got out on the new machine and glad you enjoyed the ride. Try adjusting the cleat so you can’t over turn the foot and miss the chain stay… maybe🧐 Hope you’re well😊👍

Thanks Mr M. I may just add a washer or two onto the pedal axle as it threads onto the crank. That should do it. That way it won’t affect anything else. I won’t notice a few mm. 5 maybe. 🤪

Those tyres look big what size are they

They are Vitoria something or other. What came with the wheels when I bought the Giant Defy second hand last year. Think they are a 26 or 25.
