***** Shaking someone's hand at the end of a match is being sportsmanlike. It doesn't matter how annoying or campy the opponent was, and it doesn't matter if you got wobbled four times. Sure that's annoying as anything and I'd probably be amazingly pissed off, but it shows good character and sportsmanship to shake someone's hand at the end of any match.

Jason R Never said anything about wobble, so dunno why u bring that up in the first place. And all you pro-rng people rly abuse that "it makes it interesting" statement. The only moment where rng makes something interesting is when it's there to make people adapt, so you can't win by just memorizing inputs (like randomly generated maps in RTS games). But when RNG strictly favours one player, then it becomes total bullshit, because then it doesn't matter how good u are, you will still loose. And I don't know about you, but imo the good players should win, and the bad should loose. The bad shouldn't win because of a lucky dice roll.
Phoenix1212121212 You act like the whole game, the G&W player just sat there hitting side-b until he won because he hit a lot of nines. He spent the whole game playing well, and then by the end he went for a hail Mary and got a nine so he won. If he got anything else he probably would have lost. Being willing to take risks doesn't make you a bad player, it actually makes you a better one. The RNG doesn't "strictly favor one player" as you say it does either. He has the same chance of getting a 1 as he does a 9, so the RNG doesn't favor anyone. You act like once someone uses a hammer on G&W the other player automatically loses, which is certainly not the case.

Same with Melee, you can't get 2 of the same number in a row

Actually, in Melee, if you get a 9, you won't get a 9 for your next TWO hammers. The game stores your last two numbers, and you can't get them again until they're overwritten. When you start a game, they are set to 1 and 2, so you'll never get a 1 or 2 on the first side-B of a game.
For those of you who don't know, if you read the stars on G&W's Judgement hammer [PM] when you use it, it's 1 or 2 stars, which corresponds with odd number or even number, so you can use that alongside the odds of each number, and the last 2 used will not reappear in the next use. Like if you get a 3 with 1 star, then a 7 with 1 star, the next one could be a 1, 5, or 9. I think you can count the odds and know when a 9 is coming, then set up for a killer combo.

There's a mod of brawl called Brawl minus (Brawl-)
It has MS paint portrats for every character, fancy purple character select screen..oh, and every character has something that makes them really, really insane. Like mario's side taunt giving him a metal cap, ike has a special "no sympathy" mode where he can do crazy damage, sonic's side-b is a speed boost (and he can rapid cancel his taunts to be really annoying) It's a weird and fun mod.

Manny Deluna Brawl- did the opposite of what brawl+ went for. plus went for balancing all characters so they retain their current moves and keeping it similar to the source game. Minus said fuck that and went on making every character really silly in their own ways, somehow making it balanced at the same time :P

Found out today that a 9 will not go through focus attack.
+Cascaded Volcano It'll go through in the earlier stages, but not the later stages. A fully charged bucket, on the other hand, will always knock Ryu out of it.
Alex M. any armor breaking move will go through focus attack. See also fully charged eruption, Marth tipper shield breaker, etc.
Cascaded Volcano I knew that the armour gets heavier the more it's charged, but I didn't know that move which do extra shield damage are also more effective against it.
Alex M. i think it's only Marth's shield breaker works since it breaks armor.
Cascaded Volcano Will Ganon's utilt knock him out of it? The final stages of Focus Attack should be able to resist the damage given, but since it breaks shields it will still knock Ryu out of it, like you said. It might be worth testing.

For the next top hype moment, you should put cobolt vs hungrybox moment at the TBH4 in fountain of dream. I think it was the last game of winners final (not grand final), in fountain of dream. Cobolt was out of the stage and hungrybox wanted to get a low % kill and somehow cobold made it back, but it was really really hype, cobalt was really trying to contain himself after haha (player cam)
