Interesting fact: Shade's friend, Darius "Comanche" Jones, is played by Thomas Jones, who played in the NFL for 11 years as a running back. Had 5 straight 1,000 yard seasons from 2005-2009.
When you've already seen the entire season, you can't help think ahead the episodes you're looking forward to them reacting too. I low key want to wait until they've seen them all and binge watch the reactions.
As far as the "Claire Issue" goes: She was right to mention her OWN concerns, and express her OWN feelings about the situation, as well as SUGGEST that Luke should address the issue instead of letting it fester by ignoring it. Where Claire went wrong was trying to FORCE the issue, by BADGERING Luke about it, by NOT actually listening to Luke when he said that he wasn't ready for the confrontation. And IGNORING the fact that Luke wasn't like an average guy on the street, but someone who was seeing his current efforts of cleaning the streets being hindered at every step. This is just a piece of advice for ALL the ladies out there..... When your man is frustrated because his attempts to do something are NOT working.... DO NOT try to force him to do something he isn't comfortable with doing. There is something inside the male's brain that takes that frustration of failure and looks for an EASY target to let that frustration out...... it's why a man can become a bully, why they can 'lose control', why they snap and argue over the smallest things, as well as why they will focus ON your attempts to force him to do something as the ONLY thing that he can actually resist and respond to........ basically, when a man is already 'annoyed' or 'angry' over his own issues, jumping in about something else he doesn't want to put up with at the moment..... well, all that anger gets turned against you because it appears as if you are trying to CONTROL the man, not help him. Like I said, it's just a piece of advice. If the man in your life says 'back off'.... take a week or two before bringing the topic back up again, NOT the very next time you see him.
It's also just a basic respect thing. Especially from somebody that you are in a relationship with. If they make it clear that they are not comfortable going to a certain place, then you should simply acknowledge it and allow them to move toward that end in their own time. Claire is coming from a good place, but she's also clearly projecting her own issues with her father on to Luke and is being more than a little bit self-righteous and preachy.
I loved this season and I hope you guys enjoy it too. Definitely much better than season 1 for me, and seemed to progress opposite to how season 1 did, as season 2 got better and better with each episode. It's not perfect, but it's full of flavor and character. And the music was top notch throughout! Looking forward to more reactions guys!
My first thought was that Cockroach had judas bullets loaded in that six-barrel gun and that Luke was going to get messed up again, but I guess it was just the concentrated kinetic energy that blew out his shoulder? We've seen him be affected by shotguns before (JJS1)
I’m seven episodes in to this and it’s pretty good ..definitely stronger then the first season so far ..Luke’s arc is really interesting ,Misty’s is good too aswell . The least interesting part of the season for me was Black Mariah and Shades but around Ep 5 that starts to change imo and becomes more interesting . The highlight though imo is Bushmaster ,a great character with a hell of a charismatic performance by Mustafa Shakir
Look for video of him playing with Jackie Venson, another Austin guitar player who I first saw just playing a farmer's market, alone, with a couple of guitars. He had her open for him on tour last year and then got her on stage to play on Bright Lights, one of the songs in the episode.
That's possible; I'd assumed it was due to the shotgun because the car broke his fall, but now that you mention it, I don't remember him falling from that high onto his back before. Kind weird that no one tried that monster shotgun against Bushmaster though.
I'm not spoiling anything. I'm just saying I finished season 2 and I actually like it better than punisher and daredevil which were my previous favorite seasons. I just loved the writing and the acting. I found myself cheering for the bushmaster while fighting Luke cage. Best character ever!
I gotta say this Season IMO is better than S1. We probably get one of the best MCU villains this season. This season arguably was more violent than The Punisher.
There are 2 reasons the why the Judas Bullet didn’t work on Luke 1. The first was that he is in fact more indestructible 2. At the end of season 1 diamondback started making smaller caliber Judas bullets, so they they might have kinda worked then but now they don’t work (this is also hypothesis, idk for sure)
Just started watching and ya'll mentioned Bushwacker xD that's a Punisher villain my guys! Lol would like to see him show up though but might be awhile..
Is it just me or is every Marvel Netflix Hero going through some parenting problems....FYI Season 3 Daredevil will focus on Matt's relationship with his Mother.
I noticed something regarding the second season with the netflix Marvel shows but its a bit of a spoiler. Spoilers: Is it just me or is the second season the “hero becomes alone” downfall? Like Matt has a damaged friendship with Foggy and karen, everyone pretty much left Jessica, and Luke pushed almost everyone away (although his ending is very interesting). Its not a bad arc, but it starting to become repetitive. Makes me worried about Iron Fist cause i want that show to vastly improve.
I think the Netflix shows are struggling to add story in order to get the necessary number of episodes. They’re probably copying each other to an extent. At least Jessica’s mother was integral to the main plot.
So Luke moved and threw a 400 pound tire like it was nothing. In agents of shield its revealed cap pushed a 30-60 ton bulldozer across a field in about 10 seconds, in the winter soldier he lifts about 50 tons of steel off of Bucky and he can run at around 60 miles per hour. I'm gonna have to see a bit more from Luke before I say he is better than mcu captain america.
In a world that has had captain america since the fucking 1940s why are people blown away by Luke cage, being Buller proof is awsome but captain america, black panther, spiderman and the winter soldier all have super human strength and speed so it shouldn't be that amazing. Someone literally says "humans shouldn't be able to do that" like they've never heard of the avengers for Christ's sake.
This season is far better than season 1,also the way things turned out this season,i see why cottonmouth had to go,all the villains this season are top notch thanks to brilliant acting,i don't how the fuck IGN gave it 4.5,it's easily top 5
ROFL.... Trust me, as a man who had a receding hairline for years..... There is a point where you start to consider shaving the head bald just to 1) See what it's like, and 2)It simply becomes LESS humiliating than the actual receding hairline itself is. =)
Ok Luke Cage S1 (second half) Iron Fist S1 and Defenders weren't great shows at all. Luke Cage Season 2 was FANTASTIC! Slow as hell yes but damn excellent world and character exploring with some amazing music and badass action!
think like this , Voodoo is another kind of magic . we have multiple martial arts . well we have different kinds of magic that act different and come from different places. I kinda dislike the MCU way of saying that magic is science with no explanation. in the comics magic is magic and science is science ... btw Doctor Strange uses manly Arcane magic
Shadow Phoenix her name is actually matilda, tilda is for short, Thats why most of them call her tilda but sometimes her mom says matilda because its her actual name. I dont know which luke cage you watched but the one i watched her name is matilda, tilda is for short.
It's possible that Trump is MCU president now, and this is just the way of them officially revealing it. Hilary and the 2016 election was referenced in Runaways, and Agents of SHIELD has made several MAGA references. Though this is the first time we have had the name drop. Sucks about Avengers Tower, but we can still hope :/
It's always been that way in the comics. If they want to make a topical reference they use the real guys. If they want the president integrated into the ongoing story they use a fake one. They also just finished watching a Doctor Who episode that did that exact same thing. When they wanted to kill the president they had to make one up. When the Master took over everyone in the world and turned them into himself, they used Obama.
Interesting fact: Shade's friend, Darius "Comanche" Jones, is played by Thomas Jones, who played in the NFL for 11 years as a running back. Had 5 straight 1,000 yard seasons from 2005-2009.
Thanks for this, I thought it looked like Thomas Jones. I was like "Nah, that can't be him."
I swore he looked like a NFL player I knew. Thanks for the info!
I knew he looked familiar.
3:19 LMFAOO WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME! 😂😂
Sam What has been seen cannot be unseen
8:07 In the Luke Cage comics, Cockroach is famous for using that six barrel shotgun. He names it Josh.
The music with Gary Clark Jr was so good this episode, I played that concert scene twice!
When you've already seen the entire season, you can't help think ahead the episodes you're looking forward to them reacting too. I low key want to wait until they've seen them all and binge watch the reactions.
I finished ut today. Bushmaster is incredible as was nightshhade origin. Where luke ends is interesting.
I know it's too soon, but I can't wait for episode 10.
Tef tell me about it

Theo Rossi & Alfre Woodard each deserve an Emmy nod.
My first thought was that Cockroach had judas bullets loaded in that six-barrel gun and that Luke was going to get messed up again, but I guess it was just the concentrated kinetic energy that blew out his shoulder? We've seen him be affected by shotguns before (JJS1)

Gary Clark the jr (the guitar player) is now canon in marvel I’m so happy lol
She literally called it magic when he bought the ingredients.
That was Gary Clark Jr. Surprized you didn't hear about him. "come together" from justice league is performed by him.
Gary Clark, Jr., is an Austin artist. Been watching him for years, playing gigs around town. He's fantastic.
Who?
Pavel Kulinich: That's awesome! I didn't put the two together. He's great. Then again, so is everybody whose music they used this season.
Look for video of him playing with Jackie Venson, another Austin guitar player who I first saw just playing a farmer's market, alone, with a couple of guitars. He had her open for him on tour last year and then got her on stage to play on Bright Lights, one of the songs in the episode.
I think if a shotgun has enough force to dislocate Luke's shoulder, then it would completely rip the arm off of a normal person who fired it.
I dig your physics, but isn't it possible it was dislocated as a result of the fall?
That's possible; I'd assumed it was due to the shotgun because the car broke his fall, but now that you mention it, I don't remember him falling from that high onto his back before.
Kind weird that no one tried that monster shotgun against Bushmaster though.
Daaamn someone’s not playing no games zooming in on my man’s hairline like that!!
I'm not spoiling anything. I'm just saying I finished season 2 and I actually like it better than punisher and daredevil which were my previous favorite seasons. I just loved the writing and the acting. I found myself cheering for the bushmaster while fighting Luke cage. Best character ever!
Das Türschloss I with ya on that comment. I personally like like cage season 2 the best but all are just amazing seasons.
Marvel's Cloack & Dagger is pretty good too...
Morgan Allen agree
Think the nightshade just brings out the power already lying within. Kind of like the mists in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
“Why would they test her?”
It was written on IMDb that despite claims of breaking world record, in real life Luke's number was 5 ft shorter than ex-world record
Y’all the lightskin kid at the end is my cousib
I gotta say this Season IMO is better than S1. We probably get one of the best MCU villains this season. This season arguably was more violent than The Punisher.
My favourite stool is early in the morning after a cup of coffee.

5:32 the weights don't slide . before u start the exercice u lock them.
I had the same reaction 7:44
its another band scene in a upcoming episode thats amazing
Just started watching and ya'll mentioned Bushwacker xD that's a Punisher villain my guys! Lol would like to see him show up though but might be awhile..
I didn’t appreciate the insensitive one arm jokes. That pissed me off so much.
Is it just me or is every Marvel Netflix Hero going through some parenting problems....FYI Season 3 Daredevil will focus on Matt's relationship with his Mother.
Mike Ferrigno I noticed that too. I wonder how they’ll handle it in season 3 with Luke’s Dad because the actor passed away in February.
Yeah, JJ and her mom, Luke and his dad, Matt and his mom, and then possibly Danny with his mom, although that may be S3 of Iron Fist
I noticed something regarding the second season with the netflix Marvel shows but its a bit of a spoiler.
Spoilers:

Wiiranger87 There has always been similar threads throughout
This is so late, I forgot it was coming out today. Happy surprise😊
Superhero Movie/Television timeline... Origins. Team ups. Cival War. Parenting Problems
Gary Clarke Jr is the artist and an amazing one
Great video guys, you should check out Bad Times at The El Royale if you haven't yet!
Sweet Christmas
Claire needs to mind her own business with luke and his dad
He said “drowned” 😂😂😂
Does *anybody* know the name of that dancer from this episode?
So Luke moved and threw a 400 pound tire like it was nothing. great episode
I love yous guys.
Grandma has no chill.
Bushmaster was very good in this season
10:40 I am the immortal Iron Dick!!
Captain America is stronger but he's not bullet proof, which is why he has a Shield
real question: who wins between -- Luke Cage vs Captain America?? :D
Yesss slap bet!!!!!
They never even explain what they made a slap bet about
Zenger
Whether or not Bushmaster's enhancement come from a magical source or have a scientific explanation.
This season is far better than season 1,also the way things turned out this season,i see why cottonmouth had to go,all the villains this season are top notch thanks to brilliant acting,i don't how the fuck IGN gave it 4.5,it's easily top 5
Well, Eric's getting slapped
Aaron how are you shocked that Luke dislocated his shoulder? He got shot out of a 3 story window.
LOL, was Aaron actually contemplating shaving his head for a second?
ROFL.... Trust me, as a man who had a receding hairline for years..... There is a point where you start to consider shaving the head bald just to 1) See what it's like, and 2)It simply becomes LESS humiliating than the actual receding hairline itself is. =)
Oh Billy, haha 25:28. #DickAreYummy
Uhhhh... so Calvin and Eric should just slap each other. Because there can be no defined winner.
Ok Luke Cage S1 (second half) Iron Fist S1 and Defenders weren't great shows at all. Luke Cage Season 2 was FANTASTIC! Slow as hell yes but damn excellent world and character exploring with some amazing music and badass action!

Yeah there's gonna be ALOT!! Of arm puns this season 😔
Calvin...you clearly don't understand how "clamps" work for HOLDING! the WEIGHTS from falling off the bar. Its obvious though.
Finally
Is code Geass out today ?

"He could be poisoned and drowned", both of which happen this season. Goddam psychics at blindwave
It's Tilda not Matilda
Shadow Phoenix her name is actually matilda, tilda is for short, Thats why most of them call her tilda but sometimes her mom says matilda because its her actual name. I dont know which luke cage you watched but the one i watched her name is matilda, tilda is for short.
+ItsJoey I think it's just because she's mostly called Tilda
Hey blind wave can you react to Dragon ball r&r episode 1 [full episode] by masakox
Carl Lucas.
They are shitting on Misty's arn
Luke Cage is absolutely stronger than Captain America.
Which means Luke would've come in handy during Captain America 3. It's too bad Tony chose to stalk Parker instead.
Please react to teen titans
Hi
i've realized that Luke Cage is not part of the MCU because the president is Donald Trump... Also no Avengers Tower:(
It's possible that Trump is MCU president now, and this is just the way of them officially revealing it. Hilary and the 2016 election was referenced in Runaways, and Agents of SHIELD has made several MAGA references. Though this is the first time we have had the name drop.
