Philip Simmonds Just because I said Russo is the most despicable doesn’t mean Kilgrave isn’t. But Russo is a selfish shitbag that lies and manipulates while Kilgrave is more of an immature child with powers that went down the wrong path. Billy Russo is from The Punisher.
Also because Kilgrave was a monster through and through and we knew it, Jessica knew it. Billy was a family friend, he was the uncle of Frank's kids. I think that adds more to his betrayal.
I still think that Kingpin feels the most powerful, and maybe even the most dangerous. His plans are far more massive than any other villain and he makes so many enemies fullfilling those. And yet, he wins again and again, and still survives. A future League of Villains with all the surviving baddies save Bushmaster could be amazing.
Glad real Jamaicans are pointing this out. I am not but most of the accents sounded okay to me. So, I will defer to your opinion. Although, Africans often think accents in movies are off when they are really on point. Ex: The son of the President of Liberia in Alias. Ppl from my country thought that was off when it really was good. -> Black Panther accent and most of his compatriots. Ppl thought those were off... Point is that most natives usually have a stricter definition/standard about these things. Okay, that was unnecessarily long 😂😂😂🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Philip Simmonds in regards to the accents, I think they had to compensate. Because if the actors spoke full blown, patio people would need subtitles to understand lol.
Haha I am xhosa and the Black Panther accents were terrible (not surprising though due to all the clicks)- which the exception of Mbaku and his Nigerian accent
I really liked seeing the Daughters of the Dragon together and I liked their fight scene . Bushmaster continues to impress and I like Luke’s arc so far . I know there are some people who feel Claire has become annoying and I guess I could see that considering how much she was pushing Luke but she I felt is ultimately right ..his anger against his father is feeding his brutality
Favo Ching Gotta disagree fam, the season got better after this, and then stayed at its peak till the end. I was pleasantly surprised, coz s1 was a quite disappointing.
I actually agreed with Bushmaster on one thing, Luke's definitely not faster than Usain Bolt, lol😏 Sorry Luke but Jamaica to di world🇯🇲😁 Also love the different Reggae songs playing this season. Luke is definitely getting a little too full of himself. Not to mention he has so much repress anger inside. He needs to work out his issues. He kinda reminds me of Danny Rand's earlier behavior. Good reaction guys.
Fun fact: On 7:48 that guy is William Norris a.k.a. Mr. Fish, the Luke Cage villain from the comics who becomes a half-fish man. comicvine.gamespot.com/mister-fish/4005-55920/
If you pay attention to Luke's fight scenes, he is unnecessarily violent and vicious. Bullets don't hurt him, they can't hold him back. He can walk right through them and ignore every henchman he encounters. All they can do is distract him,and he lets them every time.
Ken Huff - maybe a few of his fight scenes this season can be described as *"unnecessarily violent"* when luke is pissed off or if the opponent is enhanced but the vast majority of them are the opposite. Luke usually enters any given conflict with the full intention of handling criminals with kid gloves so as to end the fight as quick as possible
Joe G I also said Vicious. It is a point of the series and Clair points it out. He goes far beyond incapacitation. He deliberately snaps large bones and maims when he could have just knocked them out. Yes they are criminals, yes they want to hurt him. But they all know that they cant. There is no real intent on their part. They know he is impossible to hurt, so why not take a shot. Like the twat who wants to let people shoot at Luke for entertainment. On the other side you have luke who knows they can't hurt him and he can walk through them or slap them unconscious, deliberately creating cripples of anyone in his path. That is why I said Unnecessarily Violent and Vicious.
Ken Huff - everything you said is true. i agree that luke has been excessively violent towards criminals so far this season...until he comes across douche bags like cockroach. luke coming face-to-face with that level of malicious intent...the *viciousness* you speak of seems justifiably *necessary.* anybody who beats his girl *in front* of his own son has got it coming (IMO) which is why i'm willing to forgive it in that situation. that dude deserved every hard knock and bruise luke dished out so he can feel that same helplessness against luke that he dealt to the woman and her son every time he raised his fist to them...plus if he doesn't learn the lesson, those broken bones will make it that much harder to lift a hand against them in the future (IJS) but i understand what you're getting at. luke and to a lesser extent misty knight's true inner conflict this season is NOT giving into the anger and rage that comes with facing the evils of man every night while *defending* the streets of harlem. so they don't run the risk of becoming the very thing they both fight against...
Quick clarification for Calvin, homeopathy is not the medicine of ''healing'' from poison, but ''healing'' from placebo. It's kind of if you have an headache, I give you a sugar pill but tell you it's an aspirin, and if you are sure you ingested an aspirin, you might stop having the headache, not because of the pill of nothing you took, but because you convinced your brain that this action would make it better. I do believe in this for minor problems, but I think that this is totally to avoid for serious problems. Also, this was one of my favorite episode of this season :)
Hey blindwave, I noticed that your code geass reactions aren't available in north america. Is there any way you guys could do a thing similar to how you are doing attack on titan, where you're not showing the full reaction, but its still on your website? Because its not even showing up on the listings anymore even though I instantly put it in my watch later bin, which was probably before UA-cam decided to block it so I can't see the link if there is one
You guys should react to Class which is a Doctor Who spin-off. It cops a lot of criticism but i enjoyed the single season of 8 episodes before it got axed. You should react to it.
Wait so the slap bet is magic vs science...but this is a universe where they're the same thing. Magic is science we don't understand yet, that's been a thing in this universe since 2011.
Looks like Claire may be gone and either for a long time, or won't reappear until another show, for she was special guest star here and not a starring member
Lol. Spoiler below for RWBY and Luke Cage. People called Iron do like giving tough chicks robot arms when they lose them fighting bad guys with katana's to save their friends.
The WEAKEST part of this episode AND this season is without a doubt Claire's story. Sadly, I can't really tell if this is due to the actress having other obligations, the writers not knowing what to do with her as a character, or the simple fact that her character in the comics is ONLY in "small doses" that would be around 1/2 of 1 issue for an entire story-arch. The "Night Nurse" is a great concept because it helps explain why the heroes of Marvel can keep "coming back for more after being doctored"...... but as far as personality goes, she's just a snarky 'medic' and nothing more. Trying to add "depth" to her doesn't work because there isn't really any depth IN THE CHARACTER or in the character's PURPOSE. Thankfully, once she is out of this season, she might be missed by the characters but not really by the viewers. And to be honest, by the end of the season it feels as if the characters pretty much accept the end result without any remorse one way or the other.
Stoaks. Mariah STOAKS
-Bushmaster
never gets old.
Das Türschloss Dem call me bushmatah. 😐
ubadman1 *Stokes
*sucks teeth*
bushmaster's jamaican swagger definitely grew on me throughout this season
- harleem not ya yard boi...is *MINE!!*
Bushmaster is the coolest Netflix villain, Kilgrave is the creepiest and scariest, and Billy Russo is the most despicable. In my opinion.
Killgrave isn’t the most despicable? How is Billy Russo even a “villain?”
(Wait, that’s the character from House of Cards, right?)
Killgrave is a sociopath
Russo is a Psychopath
I still think that Kingpin feels the most powerful, and maybe even the most dangerous. His plans are far more massive than any other villain and he makes so many enemies fullfilling those. And yet, he wins again and again, and still survives. A future League of Villains with all the surviving baddies save Bushmaster could be amazing.
I love the reggae music in this season.
I love the guy singer in episode 4.
the soundtrack has ALWAYS been *top-notch* in this series and it just keeps getting better as the season progresses
I like those moments when it sounds like an old blaxploitation movie.
STOKES.... ERR NAME.. MARIAH... STOKES..
“And he dabs” 😂😂😂
Oh Carl, going around dabbing 😂😂😂
@ 1:38 ngl, it's low-key triggering watching *aaron* of all people school *luke* on how to dab...smh #dammitAARON
7:00 if anyone's wondering, Eric just referenced Captain America 1. ;)
From this episode onwards it's nothing but fire. Being jamaican, I appreciate seeing my people represented even though some of the accents are meh.
i mean at least bushmaster is on point for the most part.
Glad real Jamaicans are pointing this out. I am not but most of the accents sounded okay to me.
So, I will defer to your opinion. Although, Africans often think accents in movies are off when they are really on point.

Haha I am xhosa and the Black Panther accents were terrible (not surprising though due to all the clicks)- which the exception of Mbaku and his Nigerian accent
Is the depicted accent of Bushmaster and his gang men real one? If yes - where does it come from? The others in Brooklyn had no such "bad accent".
This was the episode that sold me on the season, the first two episodes were pretty meh, but it really picks up from here imo!
Falls off towards the end though, sadly
Favo Ching Gotta disagree fam, the season got better after this, and then stayed at its peak till the end. I was pleasantly surprised, coz s1 was a quite disappointing.
same as me, I almost gave up after 2 episodes so glad it does get better, 3 was really good
They also were good
capoeira is the fighting style that Bushmaster used
I actually agreed with Bushmaster on one thing, Luke's definitely not faster than Usain Bolt, lol😏 Sorry Luke but Jamaica to di world🇯🇲😁 Also love the different Reggae songs playing this season. Good reaction guys.
Jack and Rose both tried to get on the door dammit! It started to sink. That shit didn't work! Let it go!
Agree
The amount of times Luke has been shot, he could probably do tricks.
Fun fact: On 7:48 that guy is William Norris a.k.a. Mr. Fish, the Luke Cage villain from the comics who becomes a half-fish man. comicvine.gamespot.com/mister-fish/4005-55920/
Hmm, this season's titles are all Pete Rock & CL Smooth song titles.
Bushmaster is cool, but I didn’t like that he targeted Luke for no legitimate reason, and then he sucker punched him and got props for it.
This season is so good, just wait.
I really tried to wait. I was able to with JJ but I couldn't wait with this.
2:31-2:35 same Eric same😂 I was rooting for bush all season
You know Luke Cage grabbing that grenade was Superman moment.
My earphones are so bad i don't see the difference in the audio
There was smth different, but not too bad
Why is Code Geass Blocked in Canada? I need this reaction!
If you pay attention to Luke's fight scenes, he is unnecessarily violent and vicious. Bullets don't hurt him, they can't hold him back. He can walk right through them and ignore every henchman he encounters. All they can do is distract him,and he lets them every time.

You could make a career out of giving clarifications for Calvin.
Ah a hole in the wall. Just like my childhood home lol
it's the reverb dimension Blind Wave
Killmonger's girlfriend in Black Panther was originally also Matilda but they changed it due to contunuity errors
Thought she was Slay.
nah Nabiyah Be tweeted that she was gonna be playing Tilda in Black Panther but then deleted it when the character was announced for Luke Cage

Tony Stark built Misty's arm in the comics... then again she married Danny, too. The show tends to change stuff...
I love bushmaster and u will too watch it picks up from here
Bushmaster is normal the nightshade gives him power
I can’t help but sucking my teeth now 😂 thanks a lot bushmaster
Everyone should've known by now it wasn't space but buoyancy, weight 🙃
When he sucked his teeth

More luke cage pleaseeee
Bushmaster...so handsome...accent so sexy...love love love him!!!!!!
This season was a little better then the last one tbh, and the ending was cool. but Bushmaster is a really character!
Its Capoeira and is from Brazil.
You guys should react to Class which is a Doctor Who spin-off. It cops a lot of criticism but i enjoyed the single season of 8 episodes before it got axed. You should react to it.
autobots rollout
Can't wait for Aaron to slap the shit out of Calvin xD
You should watch the English dub Seven Deadly Sins
I accidentally saw episode 11 first and it spoiled a bunch rip
Wait so the slap bet is magic vs science...but this is a universe where they're the same thing. Magic is science we don't understand yet, that's been a thing in this universe since 2011.
But Strange slecifically was made as magic that isn't an un-understood sciense
I wonder if Mariah really cares for her daughter or did the latter really fall for Mariah's ruse?
The shitty audio reminds me of classic Blindwave.
Papa Lucas.
YUS
Smash 64 audio.........................
Rip Code Geass..
Now that Clair's gone. The season gets really good
Who else thinks that Bushmaster kinda looks like The Thinker??
V V He should've been named "Black DeVoe".
thinker...? how you getting that? in terms of appearance or personality, absolutely nothing about bushmaster reminds me of devoe
Follow Bushmaster on Instagram. He’s a great rapper.
*Broly*
Redirecting a bullet was dumb
You need to hurry up and do more episode reactions, I don't want to spoil it but it's gets better til the final end.
Misty Knight does get a robot arm this season
The WEAKEST part of this episode AND this season is without a doubt Claire's story.
