The only one with a unlock transmission mean it will only cost $200 to do a transmission tuned while the rest it will cost 700 because it need to be unlocked

ZL1 isn't quiet power lol those are beasts. I'm getting a forged engine block on my 2.0. Should be ready in about 2 to 3 months, I was already on a stock SS ass with bolt ons and E-85 tune but with forged internals i'll be creeping in mid to high 3's probably even lower.

@@ElRiki77 I’ve already seen them do it. Most of the FBO/E 10 speed owners are mad cocky cause they’ve never seen a proper FBO camaro with a good tune, but as of right now the quickest bolt on only NA muscle car is a 6th gen camaro, and has the quickest Bolt on only NA mustang beat by a full tenth at the quarter. 5.0 guys just haven’t seen a fast bolt on car because they are rare. A lot of GM guys get a local shop tune and call it a day, don’t think twice about part selection or do their research on tires or tuners, so there’s not a high level of consistency in their performance like Mustangs tend to have because everyone and their mother is either tuned by Lund or palm beach dyno. But the guys who do have a serious setup and tuner, and have a ported high ram car tuned by someone like pray or GPI dominate all.

Pretty sure he means 500whp. Which is about right with a fbo setup
@@PacificNorthwestR fbo gets around 60 more hp so 515 ish. He's not pushing that to the wheel. Assuming 10% loss by drive drain then he's doing 460whp. If he was cammed then he'd get little over 500whp

@@Lagann0 not at all, Intake headers, exhaust e85 push you to almost 450whp alone… a lot of fbo 6th gens make close to 500whp without heads/can

Is it worth getting the 2019 over a 16-18 ? I’m I. The fence and I have my eye on a couple around the same price range I’ve heard the 19 is faster but is it really ?
Depends if you are looking at the manual or auto. The newer 10 speed is barely faster than the older auto side by side. If the 19 was the first year of the ten speed I would do more research about it. I've heard mixed reviews about the reliability when the Chevy/Ford A10 first came out.
Get the 2019. It’s worth it to have the 10 speed auto. The shifts are much faster and more crisp sounding than the previous 8 speeds and the 10 speed doesn’t have the transmission shudder issue some of the 8 speeds had. I’ve yet to see someone blow up the A10 trans when they were below 750 wheel hp.

@@Guncase You aren't a real driver if you need 10 gears. The automatic may be faster, but the type of driver who goes for the manual will run laps around any automatic driver at the track. Automatic drivers only go to the drag strip anyway, you never see them at the real tracks.
