Because of that, whenever I find a wallet, I go the extra mile to return it to the owner. I drove 45 minutes out of my way to return someone's wallet because it really does matter to some people!

If you get a chance venture out to Dragonman's, he owns a very nice military museum, several hotrods, lots and lots of guns, dirt bike track, paintball course and a couple of shooting ranges.

Garden of the Gods is one of my favorite places on Earth! I have been lucky to travel to that area four times. I love to start my day with a hike along all of the roads in Garden of the Gods before the traffic picks up. A truly amazing spot.

Talon, if you are going to be in the Colorado Springs area there is a place that would be a great Sunday Gunday. There is a guy named Dragonman you have to look up. Has a big range with class 3’s and has a museum of military weapons from all throughout history that would dwarf the Smithsonian.

Do you follow Kara and Nate? They are travel youtubbers who are now vanlifers. They were just in the Great Sand Dunes too and were able to sleep out overnight on the Dunes. I think they even boondocked in the same BLM area as you. I used to live outside of COS off of route 24 in Florissant, CO. There is so much to do and see in the area, like; climb Pikes Peak, go to Cripple Creek an old mining town, there are caves you can explore in the area. You can find bits of turquois in the streets. Intertube the South Platte river and canoe 11 Mile Resevoir. You can also look for fossils and arrowheads near Florrissant which borders South Park. Enoy your travels in Colorado. You will love it!
I found a phone in the bottom of a river once, it was in a waterproof bag. I got ahold of the guy met up and gave it back to him. He have me $2 and expressed his appreciation. But the way he gave me the $2 was like I should have been the one grateful... it was weird

@Talon Sei - run a zip tie through the hole of your shackle's pin/bolt and then around the nearest "leg" of the shackle itself. That will keep the pins from rattling themselves out and causing loss. This is what I have to do with the shackles on my Jeep, because without them it doesn't take long for them to loosen. They don't even have to be that tight, and looser may be better for cutting them off when you need to use the shackle. Black zip ties obviously.
What does being a US citizen have to d with it. You're a citizen no matter what state you live in. Just have to get a Colorado drivers license or ID card.

If the shackle pin has a hole in it you can run a zip tie through the hole then through the shackle. That’s how I keep mine from falling off.
