The only downside to, especially the 623, is that they all sport a PRNDL which is a terminal turn off for me. The Ronda cars that came out of AR/the Rover group in the late 80s and 90s were a superb blend of Honda build quality and Rover design flair and everybody should own one. Just watch out for rust in the back of the sills. These cars were wax injected but the wax coverage was spotty and needs to be done again when you have welded in new metal. The doglegs on your own 623 are rotten at the bottom and the last 2"to 3" of thre rear sill will be thin and rusty from the inside too. get the trims off and look.
Beautiful car. Too bad Rovers are quite rare here in Singapore even in the 90s and early 2000s, before the company closed down. I think all of them in Singapore have been scrapped by now.

We've seen the odd manual 600!
Not the 623 model. Like 827s they were almost all PRNDLs. Sad.
@@johnmarsh2078you wouldn't buy one either way, and people who do prefer the auto so get over it
@@petayV8 I would love a manual 623 but they don't exist. Not sure your criticism of my comment was actually English.
I have 618 grom 1997. Very good car. I drove it 3 times in Croatia💪
I like the 600 especially the better trimmed ones! A pair of front fog lights would complete it nicely..😊
