As an Indian this a moment of pride to see our government standing up for its own people.
I have, all my life, supported democracy and all peoples right to be free people in free nations. India and Indians have things to be proud of. Many many people have in last generation been lifted out of powerty and have gotten better more dignified life´s. India have, on own merits, lifted itself higher. Good people see that and applaud that. Could the progress have been possible if the population in India did not have some sort of common identity as Indians, an agreement of what is right and what is wrong and when good people try to help a fellow man in a hard place. Objectively it would be hard for anybody not to recognize the average Indian have a better life today than for both 10 or 30 years ago. For some it has been down to such basics as just being able to get a fair meal for others, and that maybe can be hard to identify in everyday life, it has been about living more dignified with a lower level of societal oppression or worse.
In China and Russia others things have increasingly been happening over at least last 20 years. Maybe few there have had same base amount of people living from meal to meal but reality are that many many people there experience increased oppression to such an extent that it in reality have destroyed their opportunity to live the dignified life´s they actually could, not related to necessarily being able to get next meal as such. I could write a lot about China and the cruelties going on there but will park that here.
In Russia the break down of the oppressive USSR collapsed morally and financially around 89 and had for a few years, after an initial economic breakdown connected to that breakdown of an dysfunctional system, a steady rise in income and freedom rights and began to have something resembling democracy. Reality are that POOtin were a KGB agent in East Germany and saw the life he had pictured for himself shatter when the Berlin wall fell. POOtin thus were a youngster with the right party book striving to become member of the old garde in Kremlin one day. He was thus schooled in seeing Western nations as enemies. He and his compadres were able to take over leadership of the emerging democracy in a silent coup by promising Yeltsin he would not be juridically held accounted for the corruption that made him and his family rich while privatising the former state owned companies controlling the nations resources. POOtin has since taking office diluted the emerging democracy and held on to power by election fraud. To some extent the corruption and oppression were at the same level for a long period but last 10 years it has gotten increasingly worse and worse. POOtin have begun killing dissidents, even those that have fled the country, with poison and bullets, others are put in jail on false charges. The reality are that the Russian people have lost their actual freedom of speech. So I just could get 45 years for writing that POOtin initiated an unjust attack war to invade free democratic Ukraine had I been a Russian in Russia right now. Young Russians have used the internet and have had acces to global media realises the Kafkask reality they live in and the oppression they live under. Older and rural part of population that solely read the lying state media live in another reality but the recent ban on the 3 words must even make an impression on them. The state now also includes the legal system so even inside the small frames of official "rights" people can get their life´s ruined forever for no cause.
WE, us in the free democratic nations that have basic human rights, no matter if we are rich or poor, what color or race we have, what personal problems we have, what issues our nations have had with other nations, dont know when pivotal moments arise that will be defining for our history and for us as humans.
I, and billions of other human beings around the world have recognized this unjust attack on a free nation are such a pivotal moment.
War is ugly and few things are worth risking your life for. The brave people of Ukraine KNEW that if they did not put their life on the line at this sudden critical moment they would again be colonized and enslaved and live as unfree people under the POOtin tyrants regime.

Populations all around the world DO feel direct consequences of their own and their nations posed sanctions and they DO have to make some personal sacrifices as consequence. The leaders of a vast majority of nations ARE discussing it and ARE self-aware of the problems they have to solve to get the problems it causes locally solved. It are the willingness of normal human beings in those nations to accept personal sacrifices that makes the whole difference.
SO when India keeps sending money for arms to POOtin right now and when India, that last year totally bought 16 million barrels of oil from POOtin since the war were initiated have bought a massive 13 million barrels India ARE aiding POOtin and his evil regime and his unjust killings of innocents AND India are also working directly against the sanctions billions of people around the world are willing to accept to aid the fight against oppression, colonization and enslavement of the Ukrainian people.
I am not a politician and can tell the sad truth Indians dont seem to want to realise about their nations actions right now.

I have, all my life, supported democracy and all peoples right to be free people in free nations. India and Indians have things to be proud of. Many many people have in last generation been lifted out of powerty and have gotten better more dignified life´s. India have, on own merits, lifted itself higher. Good people see that and applaud that. Could the progress have been possible if the population in India did not have some sort of common identity as Indians, an agreement of what is right and what is wrong and when good people try to help a fellow man in a hard place. Objectively it would be hard for anybody not to recognize the average Indian have a better life today than for both 10 or 30 years ago. For some it has been down to such basics as just being able to get a fair meal for others, and that maybe can be hard to identify in everyday life, it has been about living more dignified with a lower level of societal oppression or worse.
In China and Russia others things have increasingly been happening over at least last 20 years. Maybe few there have had same base amount of people living from meal to meal but reality are that many many people there experience increased oppression to such an extent that it in reality have destroyed their opportunity to live the dignified life´s they actually could, not related to necessarily being able to get next meal as such. I could write a lot about China and the cruelties going on there but will park that here.
In Russia the break down of the oppressive USSR collapsed morally and financially around 89 and had for a few years, after an initial economic breakdown connected to that breakdown of an dysfunctional system, a steady rise in income and freedom rights and began to have something resembling democracy. Reality are that POOtin were a KGB agent in East Germany and saw the life he had pictured for himself shatter when the Berlin wall fell. POOtin thus were a youngster with the right party book striving to become member of the old garde in Kremlin one day. He was thus schooled in seeing Western nations as enemies. Young Russians have used the internet and have had acces to global media realises the Kafkask reality they live in and the oppression they live under. Older and rural part of population that solely read the lying state media live in another reality but the recent ban on the 3 words must even make an impression on them. The state now also includes the legal system so even inside the small frames of official "rights" people can get their life´s ruined forever for no cause.
