- A DIY video on how to improve the trigger on your Arex Delta.
The trigger job is relatively simple to do for people that are comfortable with taking the gun apart. Essentially you just polish all the trigger surfaces that touch or rub together.
This DIY trigger job can work for both Delta gen 1 and Delta gen 2 handguns.

The platform will (probably) remove this video, so for everyone interested I would suggest downloading it to local storage.
You remind me of Zelenskyy.
I usually go for the buy a case of ammo and it'll fix most issues route.
I did the first method on my L. Working on the same with my M. Just gotta do it when she isn't home. She doesn't know about the M yet
Good tutorial, I did this to my CZ P10c. One remark: in the time it took you to mask tape the Firing Pin assembly and firing pin safety you could have disassembled it twice. At least id it is like a Glock inspired firing mechanism.
I do this with a Q-tip and a little polishing compound because I am a chicken and don't want to change the geometry. I believe It's called the "10 cent trigger job" lol
My only criticism of the Arex Delta is that it feels like a toy.
Arex Delta 2 trigger is on par w/ CZ & Canik!!!
Those back straps look horrible.
You putting it back together, is better than the Global Ordinance video. There video has no speaking.
I followed your advice. I had a qualified, competent gunsmith to polish the trigger action group. The result was just like you said: it improved the smoothness of the trigger pull weight.
Used to do this with my ak’s.
I purchased an AREX-Delta Gen 2 L in Black and I love it! I dropped the crap out of it when I was trying to take a piss, took like a champ. No other pistol in my opinion has a budget price for quality literally getting your money's worth.
Great video. Can you show how to swap the mag release with the extended mag release.
Your first method is how I smooth every trigger I have. Some days I run three to four times that many for dry fire practice anyway, so they don't stay gritty for long. That Arex is the next one that I want.
Dry Fire= Good. : )
Great advice and video!!! I've seen guns either no longer run or made completely unsafe by DIY gun smithing... I'm not against it by any means but if you don't know what you're doing things can go bad pretty quick so if you're not 100% sure get 100% sure before moving forward...
Polenta Tactical, one of the greatests of all time

I did this on my Delta. Before this video came out. I went a little more aggressive on it. Dropped the trigger weight from 6 down to a 4. However note that on this gun dropping the pull weight this much it becomes very touchy. A 4lbs pull weight on this gun feels closer to a 3 just note
