Damn. The Cheese and Expanding Balls really got the short end of the stick in the vanilla game. This level (or something like it, probably something more advanced) would have been real nice to explore those two
i guess the next thing to add is objects, such as the pipe or decor or stuff in the level, becuz rn u can only use what was already placed in the offcial levels to do stuff with, so that would be welcome!
i am a tad bit confused, what does " open the path to WoG2's .exe" mean? im terrible with computers lol (also props to you for cranking out an editor this quick)
you need to find the folder on your computer that contains World of Goo 2.exe/WorldOfGoo2.exe if you bought it from the site, then itll probably be in program files/World of Goo 2 if you bought it from epic games, i have no idea where they download games so get googlin'
@@goofybatz3895 1) make sure when you set the path, you clicked on the exe file, if you didnt, you can navigate to %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\ and delete user_data.dat 2) make sure you followed the instructions on itch.io, as there needs to be a folder called res inside the game folder in the WoG2 directory 3) if neither of those work, let me know what os youre on
@@VirtuaVirtue A couple small bug reports, the fish goo look like fish goo in the editor, but when placed are actually the bouncing green digital goos, and pre-connected fluid transportation goo structures are SO buggy (this goes for all 3 types of goo). let the level making, BEGIN
This is awesome. I feel like the base game has a lot of unexplored potential so it'll be super fun to see what people come up with.
theres already a bunch of custom levels posted in the server in the description!!
@@VirtuaVirtue How do you play these levels..?
@@timschutte3961 you simply replace a level in the level folders, and make sure the file names match
make sure to backup the original level

I read "Cheese" as "Chinese" and was super confused.
This looks great!! Props for getting this out so fast! :D
I was about to comment on your previous video to make the editor look more visually appealing... This is amazing!!!
wow! little big goo! incredible!
Never thought the terrains were made of cheese balls under the hood. The Trailer #1 was right!
Cool!

@@VirtuaVirtue but I was not expecting modding to be nearly finished in less than a week
@@VirtuaVirtue AMEN
Now someone can make the full version of Paper Goolf...
this shi rlly impressive for how short the games been out. looks fire

Is that a reference to the level Juicer 🔥

Guess this means people can make World of Goo 3. And World of Goo 4, 5, and 6. Maybe even World of Goo 9

How i do open level juicer if i click random key, nothing happends?
@@MerpDoestaketwo2 im not sure what you mean by random key, but theres detailed instructions on the itch io page

cutscene editor probably not gonna happen, they are movies in this game

does the editor update automatically or do i have to reinstall every time?
