Very helpful - I'm half way through the job (waiting for bearings to arrive). FWIW - I found it very easy to remove the lower bearing using the two provided holes in the triple tree with a long 4mm punch - a few alternating "taps" and it popped off, much quicker than using a puller or cutting it off. I plan to heat the lower bearing (as you did) and freeze the races to aid install.

There are two 4mm holes on the T where you can use a punch to tap the bearing off, tap tap. There is no need to mangle the bearing or use a grinder to cut it off.

Nice job. I have a 2015 f800 gs with same issue. Do all bikes have same condition? I mean, does a brand new bike has this "stucking" exactly in the center position? I also have a 2008 suziki c50, and I can feel like a "bump" also in the exact center. I lifted the GS to see if I could feel like somethig loose, but nothing moves, so I;m not sure if I have to replace the bearings.

Chances are, if you feel the “notchy” sticky feel at the center position, it’s bearing related, and should be regreased at minimum. But replacing bearings with freshly greased new ones is the best option.
Always a good practice to apply new waterproof grease to a new bike’s bearings…all of them. Most are barely greased from the factory.
Following torque specs for you steering stem components including your suspension clamps, is crucial as well.
Thanks for watching the vid and glad it was helpful man!!🇨🇦🇨🇦
