Damn. Impressive
How the heck is your bike so clean?
Im pretty afanatical with my detailing lol. I tear it down every winter and go at it too
@@GnarlyChicken could you share what stuff you use to detail? Lots of conflicting info out there (even simple green has a ton of threads on whether or not to use) regarding which products to use on what types of material, so it'd be great to hear your process/sprays/tools/etc.
@@ModularMuscle Warm water mixed with dish soap in a spray bottle. Tooth brush for the harder to get to spots, including my chain. When done, WD 40 to go over everything. That's it man...no big $$$ formula..just some elbow grease lol Will also use my compressor to dry all the areas where water will lay
@@GnarlyChicken great to know. I've spent way too much on cleaning products that didn't ever seem to work that well (and SC1 because it smells way better than it should).. and I think it's time to try this approach. Did your exhaust ever spooge, and if so, does dish soap/warm water handle that too? that black oil gunk gets on everything on my 23 XC and it doesnt want to come off with the watered down degreaser I use.
@@ModularMuscle I get very little spooge as my TPI is set up well.
where did you find that foam?
Класс 👍 интересно как тут китайский мопед поехал бы.
One time my ex got a 2001 cr125 and the swing arm was wore thru to the bearing race by the chain. No chain guide left whatsoever 😅 thanks for the detailed video bud! Working on my '16 KTM 105 today
Hey man, whats your recommend best steps for flushing the coolant?
I always simply drained old coolant out, then flush system with distilled water (4 litre jug). If you dont have that, then Ive boiled water too and used that to flush entire system to get all the old coolant out of the engine jackets and places where the coolant will tend to stay. Once you see nothing but clear water draining out of the drain hole, then fill up system with fresh coolant. I always use HP Coolant. It immediately helped prevent my Nytro from over heating in low snow conditions.
@GnarlyChicken Thanks alot for the info brother. I just picked up my 1st sled 08 nytro mtx. Where exactly is the spot to drain it. All this stuff is new to me
Sticky tire more for traction on rocks and roots than mud.
You can just pull the black plastic panel where your leg goes back instead of removing all that other stuff.
Wheel bearings?😅
Glad you were able to get down that little hill without an issue
Pure glass too eh. Nice
🤪😹
shiiiiiiiit
fax very talented
wow flying on rock garden at prospecters you are so good
Great video!! I also noticed that you have a Newfoundland Screechers certificate. I'm from Newfoundland. What part of Newfoundland did you get "Screeched In"?
Good eye! That was on a 10 day dirt bike trip 4 yrs ago. Just north of Stephenville at Gerard Brake's Camp. What a night!!
I’ll never understand why people add lame songs to their videos that cover up the sound of the motor 🤦♂️
Awesome video ✅
Wolverine be like
Nice

Thanks for doing this - not ready to do it yet, but I will keep all your expertise in mind when I do 👍
Thats awesome man...thanks
You deserve like 1mil subs bro keep it up
Beautiful car! That parking brake wants to be pulled up :)
Thanks for the video. My X300 at 35k miles and I was thinking about at least checking and probably replacing the clutch plates. Ordered a set of plates and springs from Barnett last night and was reading the service manual instructions. Looks pretty easy, but it's really nice to have a visual guide as well.
Awesome, glad if it’s helpful for ya
How did that bike breathe 😂
Haha….not very well
I would plug those holes and use it as a wash cover
@@paulberube7163 that's a good idea actually! I will pass that idea on to the next person who buys one. We have 5 or 6 in our group already.
Maybe I'm slow, what does the tubliss do in the install? Do you run a little pressure in the tire and the Mousse is there in case of a puncture?
Exactly
@GnarlyChicken Thanks, my "new" 2012 KTM 300XCW came with tubliss. I was thinking plugs for an emergency. Now you have me thinking this over. Thanks for the video and your reply!
@@TheArthurfonzarelli no problem buddy. But just so you know, plugs for your tire (with tubliss), may work in a pinch...but its usually the tubliss themselves that fail. We install a lot of them, and I will never use anything but Mousse in my TE 300
Bad Video
Thanks, glad you liked it
14:40 your video helped me again, I drained my oil drain pan (which at the camp is a cut in half 2 gallon water jug lol) found that stupid little spring in there and didn't immediately know what machine it was from, id been working on wheeler, dirtbikes and sleds... Frig, glad I found it. Luckily I was waiting for a new bolt for that lower sprocket... I had a bolt backout and drill a hole in the chaincase cover near the end of the winter... the old bolt had no evidence of locktite on it, I suspect that was why it failed
Awesome man!
😂 yep that’s about it. I should have rode it down the hill and that might not have happened
I wish you had used the tools that came with it, DIYers need on the site info; nobody has floor jack or pneumatic tools under their seat.
I’ll do that next time. I should be using them anyway….good practice for when you need them in middle of Jan in side of the highway when it’s -30 lol
@@GnarlyChicken thank you for your kind response. It will work
"Upside down again" 😅
So calm 👏🏻
Its the most wonderful time of the year🎉🎉🎉
Well third time is a charm that day I guess 😂
🤣😅😁
nihilo concepts has lots of goodies for 65. They have a trick little gauge to help set the deck hight and time the exhaust valve. There jetting kit really brings the little motor to life.
Thanks for the info. Good to know👍
2 stroke for you
Det er godt jeg kør oser crosser
Oh my ! Hahaha
Can't wait to get mine
Hey good video but just wondering if this would be the same as my bike - 2021 Husky TX 300i fuel injected dirt bike. The hoses don’t look like the same as what’s on mine
Thx for the comment man! Yes your 21 TX should be identical to mine….everything. However, if you notice that some things on mine may seem reversed than what’s on yours, it’s because I videoed this with my IPhone in reverse mode, so everything looks backwards. But yes, all hoses and parts and process is the same buddy.
Ok awesome, I’m gonna try replacing the spark plug first as it’s the cheapest and easiest fix but thanks for the help, happy riding
Good job chef
Many thanks to all of the hard work of the "trail fairies".
What epoxy exactly do you suggest
It was just red RTV gasket maker. Still holding up too👍
The 150 looks sounds great..
Nice bike, good job on staying on it
I have had 3 Cdi s , 1 stator two regulators, two condensers one charging diode , 2 battery’s and still having issues measuring across the battery mine jumps from 14-16 which I’ve been told is way too high and now be advised to replace the wiring loom pulling my hair out what’s left of it ! 2019 beta 300 racing
That’s aweful man!! Try hats why I’ll never own a Beta again
@@GnarlyChicken I love the bike just think I have just picked a bad egg with this one to fair to beta uk we’re I am based they have been really good helping out with some of the parts there customer service is excellent.
@@Enduro187 well that’s good. My buddy had to pay $600 Cnd for a new starter!!
Hi, do you know what size are the vent hoses that come out of the carb? Is it 3mm or 4mm? Thanks,
Sorry no I don’t
