Time to come back !! The 2 deck freeway behind Pike Place is gone . Yes the noise is gone the view has opened up . For those that can't hand the chill & wetness July & August are the hottest month but this last June their was 3 days of 100+ which melted 40% of snow at Mt. Rainier which I live near.
@@GriffandAlyssa Thanks. We are going in August this year if all goes well. Excited to explore Seattle and Alaska for the 1st time. Loved your whole series. Thanks again.
Not sure when you were here, but if you ever decide to come back- We don't get hot summers like the other parts of the US, but if you come in late July, early August it will be warmer and the days are long and gorgeous. You might still be cold though, coming from Florida! Late August is warm too, but sometimes we have bad air quality from wildfires.
I went to college in Olympia at Evergreen State College back in the early 90's. Starbuck's had a shop inside our student center. (This was before they became popular and invaded the whole country!). Loved their lattes even then!
Great video I am going to Seattle for 2 days before my 7-Day Alaskan cruise for my 60th birthday in August I plan on getting the City pass and I have three of my girlfriends going with me. It's hard when you're planning cuz you're trying to plan something that everyone would enjoy. We are getting City Pass so we going to do a day and a night space Needle, glass museum, aquarium, the harbor cruise and the ferris wheel.
Great video...I understand the need to be in the warmth even though we live in MN but moving in a few years when hubby retires. Enjoyed following...that gnocchi looked freaking delish. I wanna do a THUMBS UP...WAY UP
You didn't go into the many hallways of Pike Place Market? We find that place to be so amusing! You could find yourself turned around and finding nooks.
Great video guys! My cousin live’s in Seattle and I have visited him there and I loved it! Space needle is a trip right! You guys walked a lot! Can’t wait until the cruise videos😁
Y'all are so cute -- 50something degrees is cold!! Had me laughing. Even though I live in Sacramento, our winters are like Seattle and that is not cold. I can't wait to see the footage of the glacier day. Will ya be wearing a parka?
So funny depending on where you come from one gets acclimated to the weather. I have family in Minnesota and I’ve said can’t imagine being here in winter and 10 to 20 below 0 and they say its not that cold! Burrrrrrrrrr, I say rightttttttt! So I know have you feel, I;m from sunny southern calif!:):)
Loved everything about this vlog! I love how much Alyssa talked about the cold! I feel the same way girl! Don’t like no part of the cold! And I tried Lime scooters when I visited St Louis, now those were fun!! We scooted everywhere, all weekend long!!
I'm from Seattle area and never been to the beach where you can see so many sailboats. I've been to Alki Beach which you can see across from the Pike Place Market.
I was hoping you'd whine a little bit more about being cold, and in a video about Seattle, have your face filling up the screen 100% of the time instead of only 90%. Try to work on it.
Well, we are from Florida... and this is a vlog, so typically you see the person talking into the camera. But we will do our best to fix those things for you next time. Thanks for watching! ;)
I’m planning to do a 3-4 day trip to Seattle next year! Can’t wait to see Pike Place Market, eat great food, mariners game, and Bruce Lee Gravesite!

I would assume they are all good, you have to be good to keep your spot ?!
I've seen one of those glass pieces at a hotel in Las Vegas don't remember which one and I also seen it at that big hotel in the Bahamas.
What month did you visit and do your cruise to Alaska? Thanks. Love this series.
This was June 2019!

@@GriffandAlyssa They always say summer doesn't start here until July 4. But it's still not summer like you're probably used to.

Seattle is one of the top places I want to visit. When is the best time to go and it not be to cold to be out?
Late June - August I would think!
It feels good to be back! Honestly, I can't believe how many cruises we been on in such a short time! We've got so much more content on the way!!!!

New England style vs Manhatten style (creamy vs tomato).
