It's actually common practice in Asian households, although you are supposed to clean yourself before you go in.

It's normal to do this in a lot of countries. In Japan, for example, people still share the same bath water. But it's also customary to take a shower first before getting in and wash yourself with soap. You also don't ever put your hair in the bathtub, because it makes the water oily.

My mom tried to be the "cool mom" my entire childhood, which led me to feeling like the parent most of the time as she dragged me into awkward situation after awkward situation. Meanwhile my dad has always made it clear that he's the dad, and now as an adult I feel comfortable coming to him with almost anything, and guess what, we still spend time together and have a great relationship! Funny how that works.

@@rickyp.martin3209 It stands for The Learning Chanel, they started off as an educational channel. They used to actually show things like surgery, in an educational way. They had a really good show called "The Operation" it came from another channel but it ended up there. Then they had educational reality like "A Baby Story", "Forensic Files", "Earth's Fury" , "Robotics". Now it's just a mix of disfuntional "edutainment" "reality" shows, "reality" shows and a slight dash of educational programming. If you look up their history NASA is one of the groups that started the channel under a different name. Of course they had educational/instructional programing back then.
I only take baths to relax.. First shower to be completely clean>Bath>shower again to get rid of shower gel/bath bomb residue and add conditioner to hair. I really don't understand how other people do it..

Hey Jamari, I just wanted to tell you my point of view about the bathtub sharing. So I'm from germany, but I don't know if other families here did that too. So when I was young or even until now I always shared the bathtub water with my sibling or my parents. It was normal and it didn't kill any of us. I mean okay, I can understand that it's gross, if one was really sweaty and came from sport or anything like that. Also I wouldn't want to share the bathtub with my entire family (5 people) but that wasn't ever the case anyway. I mean what's so bad about sharing the bathtub if you were not super dirty before. Even today I ask my brother if he wants to hop in after I took a bath and if my dad asks me if I want to hop in I would do that too. Nobody in our family got some weird ass diseases from that or felt more icky afterall. Maybe some people here share the same experiences. I think it's way weirder that they're cuddling like that at that age. I'm curious about some comments on this guys.
