Jeremy, I totally agree with your collection of affordable, available, summer pours (C.A.A.S.P) :Arran 10, Compass Box Orchard House; and Clynelish 14. I would add Glenmorangie Nector D’Or, Oban 14 (D.E. Preferred) and Glen Grant 18.

Redbreast Lustau is oloroso, made from a mixture of bourbon and sherry barrels between 9 and 12 years old, with a further 1 yr maturation in first fill oloroso casks from the lustau bodega.

Best whiskies for the summer are Glencadam 15 and the Compass Box Orchard House. That's it, you don't need any more whiskies. (get the Glencadam 10 if you can't find the 15 or if it's too expensive. The 15 is much better though. Cheers

Teeling Small Batch is rum finished and light plus well priced. Lots of Irish good in the summer, reasonable bottles out there. Glencadam 10 is citrus and nice for summer. Rye too heavy for me in summer, better in fall after summer is already fading.

I think of Offerman editions like Cairdeas editions.
Whether you consider those collectible or not is likely based on what you’re getting out of your collection. You can still buy Cairdeas editions from a decade ago for about £110 which isn’t great appreciation for 10 years.
