I stopped Donation GWILL THE day I saw all my items I donated On counter, shelf over priced 3 times even for which I paid way less from the store . They suppose to be non profit . They are tremendously profiting off free items an all that they receive . Salvation Army does the same thing .I rather give to the church & shelter than goodwill.
HI Mikey, You hit the jackpot at the first Goodwill...Always enjoy seeing Biscuittbutt. That wooden box is for keeping potatoes in the top and onions in the drawer..(Bottom). Take Care Mikey..Love you and Super Cort💕
I see that quite often. Canning Quart or Pint jars along with throw away pickle, mayonase jars for $2-$3 that are really cheaper new! I got brand new half gallon canning jars for $2 with lids and rings last week.
Good job Mikey scoring big today! Love the shell glass vases, so pretty! Yes, what’s up with Goodwill selling broken stuff - for $$$. You are Too funny! 😂 😂
I used to love going to garage sales & flipping it on Ebay ,7 day listings meant I had a wage coming in every week . I used to love getting a bargain , but listed it , made a profit . Also your goodwill shops are well presented .
Thanks for this great adventure, Mikey. I think that you did well today. Maybe it will pay for your breaks. Hope so say hi to supercourt I miss her.😊😊😊😊😊
Mikey maybe sometimes when you think shopper “jacked” the item, maybe just maybe it was the original owner and they donated the parts they didn’t need/want. When I was in Murano Italy touring a glass factory they said there is no way all the glass claimed to be Murano is really Murano because there’s just never been enough glass blowers to make that much. I’m not sure exactly how they worded it but it certainly made sense. Yes even the made in Murano stickers are fakes.
0:54 yay hard goods was voted #1 woo boo! 🎉 12:35 not enough resellers are paying attention to the “sold rates”. They see the listing prices & then buy merch that’s not selling. 😢
23:37 the Knives always surprise me in thrift stores. I think it was one of your videos a few months ago an unstable person was roaming around talking to himself. Just seems like a bad situation waiting to happen.
💯 Frankly it ticks me off that they put obviously broken items on the shelves(like a figurine missing the head). They should have a section for chips and cracks. The items could be sold at very discounted prices. People could then decide if they want to purchase the item.
What you need to realize is Goodwill is staffed with let's say not so careful people, so if you tell them to put a star on a Christmas tree that's all they'll do until told otherwise. If they are told to load up a cart with priced items and put them out on the shelves that's all they"ll do. Goodwill does throw out items that do not sell and they are carted off to the local landfill.
I would love to see you make a tutorial and share with your viewers on how you use your phone to check items u find..Where do u go for your info??you said u also scan the bar code?? what is your exact protocol?? Thank You Mikey. Love ur videos..
I always kept potatoes in the biggest part and onions in the smaller part. Never had a problem with it. I raised 5 kids also so the supply was always used and refilled.
It really irks me when people open up taped items at Goodwill. Once it is open the parts usually get broken or go missing. Goodwill has no choice but to discard the item because it is no longer sellable.
I used to get off from work, go by goodwill around 6pm and find good stuff. Now you have to be there when the new carts come out if you want to find anything decent.
*The whole market of second-hand stores suddenly exploded in 2013- with college kids on their smartphones looking-up items. Rookies....* When perusing, you have to look fast at a section. You have to *know* quality - especially in store's art sections. [It helps if you grew-up around items of quality, or have studied fine art under a Master or Masters....] Though last time I went to a Savers store, they were pricing items as if one was shopping at Israel Saks! Outrageous! Then at the disgusting Salvation Army- where they take their free donated items and suddenly started printing-out what similar item prices that are being 'asked' for on Ebay, then slapping and taping the print-out on the furniture and items. Before the 'reseller' craze, I would hit three shops a day and let me tell you, I have quite an art collection. *Salvation Army takes the proceeds from donated items, and they use the monies to pay Lobbyists in D.C. to lobby for anti LGBTQ+ Youth legislation. They're bigots!*
what is new?? that they pick the best stuff and sell it in other platforms, that they sell the best to "special" friends, family and tippers? that they charge an arm and a leg for trash, that they are not the giving you the most amazing experience when u shop....that they receive a lot of donations for FREE with tax breaks for being "non profit" yeah right...and go around and charge high prices because they have to pay their employees minimum wage but the corporate ceo makes a million a year??? i wonder why people still believe that goodwill are the "good guys"
I have all the same complaints about GW that you mentioned. They do, however, run an excellent program hiring people with special needs and senior citizens. They do so for other, smaller businesses/thrift stores as well, not just official GWs.
Goodwill has forgotten they get their inventory for free!
Oh even better they have an entire staff of people who sell the really good stuff on eBay. All charities are now eBay resellers.
Only day i go to Sh*(will is on Monday when things are on sale for $1. Thats it!! Way overpriced, i wont pay those prices.
Are you kidding me? The CEO of Sh&*will makes as much money as the CEO of Boeing. Thats around $54M a year. Whos kidding who here?
Time stamp 17:32 there was a matching Folded up Tommy bahama chair behind the 1 you picked up
You can mail a fishing rod in a PVC pipe. You mmight have to send the reel in a box, but PVC works really good for long skinny items.
Thanks for the tip
I love the entertainment you bring!!!😊😊😊😊😊
HI Mikey, You hit the jackpot at the first Goodwill...Always enjoy seeing Biscuittbutt. That wooden box is for keeping potatoes in the top and onions in the drawer..(Bottom). Take Care Mikey..Love you and Super Cort💕

The first item you showed (green glass pumpkin) for $3.99 was a Dollar Tree item. Do better Goodwill! 🤨
I see that quite often. Canning Quart or Pint jars along with throw away pickle, mayonase jars for $2-$3 that are really cheaper new! I got brand new half gallon canning jars for $2 with lids and rings last week.
Boy they saw you coming on those brakes! I purchase them and son puts on...less than $50! I even learned how to install them. I refuse to be robbed
That wooden box , you can put potatoes 🍠 and onions 🧅 in it 😋
thank you!
But, you should never put potatoes and onions together, as they will spoil faster.
Good job Mikey scoring big today! Love the shell glass vases, so pretty! Yes, what’s up with Goodwill selling broken stuff - for $$$.
You are Too funny! 😂 😂
Goodwill has become to expensive to be relying on. Only when im bored and happen to be driving by to i browse.
The wooden storage bin was for potatoes and onions.
The fish is made from capiz shell from what I can see. Pretty. 😊
I used to love going to garage sales & flipping it on Ebay ,7 day listings meant I had a wage coming in every week . I used to love getting a bargain , but listed it , made a profit . Also your goodwill shops are well presented .
Use to. Why you stop?

DO NOT VARRY A STAPLER AND STAPLE REMOVER.THAT WAY YOU CAN OPEN THE BAGS AND CLOSE IT BY STAPLE IT BACK TOGETHER AND YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S THE ITEM.😮😢🎉😂❤
Thanks for this great adventure, Mikey. I think that you did well today. Maybe it will pay for your breaks. Hope so say hi to supercourt I miss her.😊😊😊😊😊

Mikey every once in a while you can find a 100 or a $1000 coffee cup Starbucks can sell for very good money
Kat the nurse flipper just did a vlog on her channel about bolo coffee cups. I think Starbucks New Zealand was number 1 worth thousands.
😂" Not a glass speculator " 😂
I love the pink feather lamp
@3 o’clock in some restaurants..starts cocktail hour.
0:54 yay hard goods was voted #1 woo boo! 🎉 12:35 not enough resellers are paying attention to the “sold rates”. They see the listing prices & then buy merch that’s not selling. 😢
💯
The dolphin is carved Walnut The wood has a nice look but I don't like the fact that it's broken It should have been 2 bucks or less
Good seeing Archie.

23:37 the Knives always surprise me in thrift stores. I think it was one of your videos a few months ago an unstable person was roaming around talking to himself. Just seems like a bad situation waiting to happen.

Here in Denmark knives is locked in a glass case
That’s super cool the cocktail hour thing
Great finds at that first Goodwill. 👍😉
Hey, Archie. I decided to watch Mikey, and you popped up. Good to see you, Son.

Hi Mikey, enjoyed your video, you got some good stuff,I like looking for clothes more than hard goods but I’m not a seller, cheers
Oh my gosh, get that multi. I’ll buy it from you.
That botanical cooker was a great deal! I think I paid $100 for mine!
Goodwill should throw out all damaged items. Nobody wants to pay for them.
💯 Frankly it ticks me off that they put obviously broken items on the shelves(like a figurine missing the head). They should have a section for chips and cracks. The items could be sold at very discounted prices. People could then decide if they want to purchase the item.
@@PumpkinPatchVintage how about a free box for such items...
@@donnamclaughlin9215NOTHING ever going to be free at Goodwill, they are out for profit, NOT a charitable organization....

you may want to relook at the coy fish. That rattle may have been a scroll inside. that may have some age.
I do like the fish it has a mother pearl look to it And it is worth a gamble to sell on what not for 99 cents If it is an ebay worthy
Mickey u make shopping fun.
Hey there I’m loving being able to get time to watch your videos etc more
Thanks so much
I agree about tipping. Always tip your poker dealer and floor person!!!
💯 I used to play a lot of poker but not so much anymore
you had a lucky day at gw today and it wasnt that busy either bonus for sure
Jewelry is one of the most saturated categories online. I think POD shops (T-shirts) are second.
It would've been nice for you to find some nice cutco knives or Hinkle knives
1st like, love, love goodwill, i love shopping for clothes, but i dont go there too often, but i would lile to go again.
Most of their prices are way overinflated at most locations. Really not worth it these days.
I would love to see you make a tutorial and share with your viewers on how you use your phone to check items u find..Where do u go for your info??you said u also scan the bar code?? what is your exact protocol?? Thank You Mikey. Love ur videos..
I have a yellow wavy bowl just like that 😮😊
Napkin holder cool
There are much better places to shop than GW Mikey. Think 🤔 outside the box.
Thanx 😊
I can’t wait until you get another storage unit

That cracked me up 😂
Yes! That was hilarious! 🤣 For those that missed it 11:35 was the time to watch this! 😂
You remind me of Bill Murray "Ground Hog Day"❤
I would have took a closer look at that horse Nick knick it could be very good money
Yes good day
That's a storage potatoe and onion box❤
Potatoes and onions shouldn’t be kept together
I always kept potatoes in the biggest part and onions in the smaller part. Never had a problem with it. I raised 5 kids also so the supply was always used and refilled.
Great finding caller I’d is cool
Hi there I picked up a jones New york bag for 4.00 at Goodwill, and it is listed on eBay for 129.00 win win for me ❤
That is awesome!
I agree with the other two comments. Goodwill gets freee donations . Prices are too high. I don't shop Goodwill for that reason.
That’s the biggest Goodwill I’ve ever seen!
Let's go bag it.❤
❤
Love 925 silver
It really irks me when people open up taped items at Goodwill. Once it is open the parts usually get broken or go missing. Goodwill has no choice but to discard the item because it is no longer sellable.
I love your shirt
Potato and onion box
That box is for potatoes and onions
If you paid $100 for an item it was probably a pair of socks!
😂😂 it was actually a bike that I test drove around the store
I used to get off from work, go by goodwill around 6pm and find good stuff. Now you have to be there when the new carts come out if you want to find anything decent.
Potatoes and onions box
And i Love the Orange 🧡 Shirt 👕 LOL ❤❤❤❤😅
That’s so rude that people have to steal the good parts from the boxes
Oh yah here the goodwill ups the store prices …. Alot
I say to myself “someone in the back is on bad drugs.”
Seems goodwill is slipping on selling broken items, what a ripoff

I hate how they sell dollar store items for way more.
Gail Pittman was a 25$ piece looked it up
When I looked it up they had a few of the same yellow dish I had available but none had sold
