Oceans cleanup is really cool and helps the whole planet ! Canada's federal government banned Huawei from accessing Canada's 5G network over concerns for national security.
@camgrant1318 The truth of the matter is no one or nations does more espionage than the United States and spy agency such as the CIA or NSA, and others turning the table pointing the finger at you who happen to be the victim. It is American way of doing business!
Not just a little bit misleading but total eco doomer hysteria and lies. To the naked eye you can't tell the difference between a glass of clean sea water and the worst parts of the garbage patch because most of the plastic has broken down so much. Second problem, a century ago there were far more trees on the shoreline, human activity has reduced the amount of wood getting dumped in the ocean by storms by 95%-99%. Lots of tiny sea creatures used to colonise driftwood and breed on it, the garbage patch has allowed all of those species to find a home again. So "cleaning up" the garbage patch means destroying entire ecosystems that live there.
56Km2 of solar panels for 4 Million households (20M people) . Considering to think India's population which is 1.4 Billion.Youd only need 1500Km2 to power the entire country. It doesnt sound like alot considering India is 3.287.000Km2. That's crazy..
Absolutely astonished by the scope and ambition of these megaprojects! Each one, from the ELT's quest to unravel cosmic mysteries to ITER's groundbreaking fusion experiment, represents a leap forward in our technological capabilities. It's inspiring to see how human ingenuity is tackling some of the most challenging and crucial issues, from sustainable energy to space exploration. This video is a testament to the incredible feats we can achieve when we push the boundaries of science and engineering. Kudos to all the teams involved in these visionary projects!
Top Luxury coming in with another top quality video! Super informative and exciting to envision all of these projects coming to life in the near future. The Ocean Cleanup feels most pressing and is an instructive lesson on the sometimes unforeseen cumulative costs of progress. I love how each of these massive projects represent individual steps towards something even bigger.
Amazing and impressive what the human mind can do when it has the initiative to do so. Much better than wars and political conflicts that only destroy.
Hi Regis. I like the new format with seeing your face, along with the narration. Makes it a bit more personal, a connection with our narrator of extravagant things !!! he he he
It’s nice actually being able to put a face to the voice (yes i know this isn’t the first time) keep up the great work! Very informative as well as being able to easily digest everything that’s said with great imagery to coincide with it! 😊
Great video In my opinion, the advancement of science and existing technologies is increasing a lot But I don't know if we should be happy for it or a little worried?
i'm worried if we didn't improve, because sooner or later the earth will face a catastrophe from overpopulation to climate change, in the worst case scenario billions would die and the earth become unhabitable
ocean cleanup... isn't that this feelgood project for some wealthy jerks who travel to environmentalist events around the world with their private jets?
Can we talk about the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor project and its importance to the Arab and Western worlds and India? Do you think that Israel's presence in the trade corridor is worrying in light of the ongoing conflicts, and is Egypt or Syria an alternative to Israel?
This is my dream things to do like clean the ocean n more something like this that will help the world better if I’m a billionaire or rich enough to do it. I’m just dreaming so pls understand me.
ITER could be the best solution to solve every energy problems on hearth, including CO2 emissions. So I would say that its much more important than what could be on the moon.
@@MrDiedeg ITER is important but thats js there opinion and plus AI already proved an older design called the stellarator to be better at evenly applying the electromagnetic field to all the plasma
So the great pacific garbage page is Not a flouting Island Like on his pictures, but instead it is so divuse they need to fish For the Trash with giant nets.
17:40 Actually nuclear fusion is not that difficult to create. It needs a lot of energy but we know how to do. The only problem is the heat it creates, no materials are able to support it on hearth and this is why we try to keep the magma in suspension via the magnetic field, avoiding any contact with any material.
I like your your video, BUT before creating any video with a map, please double check correct information. You showed some parts of Ukraine as a Russian territory, which is completely incorrect. Thank you.
The "solutions" only combat the results, not the roots of the problem! no more plastic productionhigh and heavy penalties (imprisonment) for those who do not dispose of plastic properly - i.e. jail! Why jail, because money doesn't hurt the rich, time hurts everyone!
Nowadays they should be able to be a moveable structure to be able place it in another area and move another to that place with new features also sending millions of satellite 🛰️📡 send the to deep space 🌌🚀 one by one with unlimited energy have ability see far away place without building big satellite 🛰️📡 smaller better cause can make alot if they are a size of a cellphone 📱 this can help with signal delay ability to clearly view other planets cause just make the object resistant to heat if sent to another planet to view it up close and personal. But alot of issues with technology this days 😊 its not sustainable that why we get issues with climate change stuff like that but if we can travel other planets we can build best technology 😊
Sorry, but after Just 2:20 there are so many inacracies! Why are you showing an Animation of lenses in a Teleskop when you are talking about mirrors? Next 10s of nanometers? Just say 10^-9 Meters or 100 Times the sizes of an Atom, but 10.000 Times smaller than a Hair is wrong. A Hair is 0,06 to 0,1 mm so If a Hair is 10 Micrometres thick its a 1000 Times smaller, Not 10k.
Sorry but your representation of the size of the U-shaped barrier is really misleading. You said that it is only 2.2 km long yet you showed it to be way larger then Hawaii. At the size you portrayed it as, it could have cleaned up almost all the plastic in one go.
You should probably have said that it's gonna be the largest optical/near-infrared telescope. Areceibo had a diameter of 305 meters, and the FAST telescope in China have a diameter of 500 meters. Both are Radio telescopes
After they clean up the garbage patch, what do they do with it then? Bring it back to land? Then what? Fill up all the landfills on land. Honestly, with it just floating out in the ocean, it’s not bothering me. Bringing it back to dry land (where I live), now it’s bothering me. #leavethegarbageintheocean. Let’s get it trending ppl.
