To me it seems if you had a fast wide prime with an fx30 it will be the ideal lightweight to have on a pro gimbal. Your thoughts.. Brilliant comparison, I hope more gear youtubers would do professional comparisons as well as you do. Thaks again.
Bro i got this fx30 pre ordered but until now sony is delaying the release in my location due to their plans coming from the sony dealers. Not sure what that is. I watched Mark Bennett review on a74 apsc mode rolling shutter vs fx30 rolling shutter and it is better than fx30's also in low light. Down side is that it doesn't shoot in 4k120 and no s cinetone (i think). So im losing my taste on fx30 and planning on selling it once i received it. I ordered the one with handle that narrows the price difference on a74 by $140. Though if i just get the no xlr handle then yes it $700 difference. But considering i already have a6600 and saw this video and your motivation about fx30 now I'm beginning to like the fx30 again. 🤣😂 What the heck is wrong with me. 🤣😂 Nice video by the way. Love your content, but I don't get how you did this ISO test so that all shots are exactly the same looking in brightness and especially Depth of field.. as when you change the ISO you also will need to darken the light or change the f Stop so it looks the same... Did you use NDs or something, as if you change the F stop in correspondence to each ISO shift, the depth of field should change too.. But I don't see a shift in depth of field at all.. If you make the lights all darker with each shift, that would show too different characteristics... But they all look exactly the same. SO, just wondering what you did here to compensate for the ISO changes to make them all look exactly the same? It almost seems like you didn't do an ISO change at all and just changed the label and this entire video is a ruse...
@@nVuFilms thanks for your quick response.. I never thought of changing the shutter speed as that is not a normal thing to do... if you change it to a faster shutter speed, would that not also change the look of the noise too as the amount of motion blur would shift also? I really don't know.. In this test it's just your face moving, thus very little movement .. but a wide shot waving your arms or a car driving would look more staccato than the normal 24fps 48th filmic look.. People are using a high ISO for when it is a low light situation.. not bright lights stopped down with a really fast shutter speed that will change the standard film look motion blur. I don't know if this is really an accurate test of noise levels at high ISO, as people don't shoot high ISO with bright lights on things, unless they really want a staccato look or slow-motion.. What is also interesting is that going from 4000 ISO to 12800 is only 1.66th stop, less than 2 stops difference.. But if you shot the 4000 ISO at 48th you would have to of shot the 12800 at around 128th Im guessing... a different look with moving objects...in most instances people are going to shoot 12800 at 24fps at 48th in a low light situation. I do also acknowledge what you stated in the begging of the video, that noise tests on UA-cam are a joke as it compresses things too and changes everything anyway. And that is the entire point you are making.. It don't really matter about any noise, and if people are paying attention to the noise in your video, you made a really boring movie and they are paying attention to noise rather than the content in your film.
Trouble is - we've now seen the rear screen of the A7R5 and it really should have been on the back of the FX30. But Im from a third world country so what do I know. 😆

25.6k when I hit the sud button.
My eyeballs have rolling shutter. Should I be concerned?
My eyes have natural anamorphic width. Should I be concerned?

Trouble is - we've now seen the rear screen of the A7R5 and it really should have been on the back of the FX30.
But Im from a third world country so what do I know. 😆
It's very minor to me. The screen
@@nVuFilms no Vu - come on - the flip is a pain in landscape - and the tilt is a pain in portrait. Plus Sony rear screens have been poor clarity wise. Sony seem to have solved this.

A7-4 also overheats.
I've heard. But not mine. I only speak about my own experience
Where is your alter ego at?
🤣😂🤣 Dude is amazing.

Lets not forget that the only people that think your shadows look like sh*t are other UA-cam Douchebags. Clients don’t see it.
Pretty much lol 🤣
😂😂😂 you and I would be friends
Lmaoo Amazing video!

In germany a fx3 costs 4700! Euros. I would rather shoot myself in the head than spending this much money for a 4k camera without viewfinder.
