Eastern Iowa Honor Flight takes veterans on 50th trip to D.C. war memorials

The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight hit a major milestone this week, taking its 50th group of veterans to Washington, D.C. to see war memorials and to give them a welcome home, most didn't get to experience.
On Wednesday, nearly 90 local veterans got to visit memorials at the nation's capitol.
The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight makes three more trips to D.C. in 2024. Veterans, guardians, and volunteers can register for future flights at the EIHF website.
