102nd Greater St. Louis Honor Flight on 79th anniversary of D-Day taking place today

A special honor flight is on its way to Washington, D.C. Tuesday morning with dozens of veterans who will spend the day visiting war memorials. Tuesday's flight lands on the 79th anniversary of the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France.

First, there are no words to express the gratitude, and appreciation for those that served and your families that served in a different way, but thank you to them and thank you for service & committment. May God Bless you all, and we are blessed for you ALL. Thank you to those that organized this truly amazing event. For the ones that gave all and could not attend I can't imagine the courage & bravery and to the families who love & miss them still I can't imagine your pain, but hope you know how special they were, and are still, and never forgotten.
