I love nighttime at Empire. I love the Marcher camp so much, it really feels like a home from home. So much so, I find myself not wanting to spend time anywhere else. Every time I tell myself I'll go and spend more time in the other nations, but every time I just stand in the Marcher camp and think "I'll just stay here" 😂
Watching all the videos on Empire right now, preparing for my first event in April! I'm so excited :D I'm playing a little Kallasvesi Briar! You won't see me on the battlefield (Wheelchair user) but hopefully I'll see you around! Your LARP 101 videos have helped me a lot, as it's been a few years since I LARP'd and never fantasy based. So excited!
This video having been posted ten months ago, it must have been at E4 of last year, which was my very first time at Empire! I'm Mauriac of House Griffinsong, a Dawnish priest. :)
I went to Empire for a year around 2017. Back then groups seemed pretty insular and kit quality was pretty stricked. Has that changed much in the last 8 or so years?
I saw you over by weapons check before time in on Friday at the last event! You were already chatting to people so I thought I wouldn't interrupt but it was awesome to see you out in the wild. If you're ever at a loss for something to do, Feel free to swing by House d'alba in Dawn. I'm the warrior bard over there, sometimes called 'the bat knight', you'll always have a welcome place by the fire or the glory square! (also if you've been at songs and stories at the right time, you may have seen me!)
Awesome! My camp was (and fingers crossed will be) relatively close to Songs and Stories so I actually sit in my awning and listen from there. I plan to wander up to see a lot of the Dawn Camp at E4 so I will come and say hi!
Thank you, truth is I've been very unwell for the last year and it has meant I took an unexpected absence. I'm hoping to be back very soon, just thinking things through as to how to move forward. I really appreciate the support, and it's very heartwarming to know I'm missed, thank you so much
You report to the Games Operation Desk (GOD) and start another one. During the game, after the game, whenever. A player can go through as many characters as they like, but only one at a time. Some players are on their tenth character, some are still on their first one :)

@OurAdventuringParty I'm so sorry to hear that
I don't anticipate ever being to the UK, but GODS, I wish I could go. This looks perfect for me, judging by the camps alone.
The camps are wonderful :)
Exactly my thought, and I really wouldn't mind experiencing a large battle field once in lifetime.
what do you do if you loose your carecter?
