I love this idea a hundred percent. This lines up with my values and practices of reused electronics. Taking what would be more landfill and transferring it into a custom made thing is one of the most rewarding activities I enjoy. 🎉
I'm glad that you're doing this. Even though I collect old electronics with the intent to salvage parts, knowing what I have is a bit difficult without some cataloging system. In the future, I would love to see a system like this incorporated into e-waste recycling facilities, so that components could be diverted for reuse. I'm sure it would be a lot more profitable to sell working semiconductors, instead whatever scrap value old PCBs go for.

This is a great idea for schools, hobbies and even in most cases in real industry. Much better than ordering something from China, waiting a month for it to arrive with a lot of garbage from the packaging!
I've got a vacuum, a flat screen tv, an old washing machine and a batter for a drill. I want to make a gaming computer. Do I just follow this videos step by step?
If it’s a smart TV, you’re better off just jailbreaking it, installing Linux, and proceeding from there. Your main challenge will be computing power / cooling solution.
Very cool idea!

@@RonWolfHowl the vacuum can suck in air, diy CPU cooler. What games could I even play like that? Do you have any Iinks?
