    I see a lot of people saying that she didn’t use as much weight as the guy, that’s not because she’s not training as hard it’s because her body weight is probably much less that his so if she was lifting the same weight he was she could be working twice as hard as him, just wanted to clear things up, hope this helped😊💕

      yup

    • @95Geli
      @95Geli 7 років тому +8

      thats exactly right, literally anyone can train hard, because it is indeed a matter of effort.

    • @ceceliam9014
      @ceceliam9014 7 років тому +16

      alex andru No, because if you trained as hard as them, and put in the same amount of effort you would be able to do close to the same amount. Women have a higher body fat percentage, lower muscle density, and a lower VO2 max on average. Our bodies sacrifice some muscle mass in order to make it possible for us to grow and carry human life inside of us. However, when it comes to body weight training, women who put in the same effort can typically do the same or more reps because they're already dealing with less body weight to lift. Yes, men have a biological advantage in terms of strength, but training "hard" is about consistent effort, dedication, and hard work. It's discovering what your body is capable of with hard work, within the limits of your own biology, of course (that's why a woman can still train as "hard" as a man, even if she is naturally not able to lift the same weight in her training). If you can only do one push-up, unless you have a serious disability, it's because you haven't put in the effort and hard work to improve so you haven't been "training hard". Simple.

    • @ceceliam9014
      @ceceliam9014 7 років тому

      The main response to you was the first sentence, the conversation was gender related, so I was just expanding on the point. I think what I said was pretty much what 95Geli was suggesting, just not stated as simply. It's not just one-time effort, but consistent effort :)

    I think the wording is a bit too loose.What is training harder? Is it pushing yourself to your absolute limits? Then yes women probably can train as hard as men since its a mental thing. Is it pushing more weight? Well men have higher bone density and more muscle content than fat just cuz of biology. Is training harder becoming bigger? again men have it easier because testosterone is a thing. I just didnt really get the point of this video besides showing that a fit girl can keep up with a fit guy

People are getting too technical of the men vs. women gentics, body type etc. Basically this video showed me that a woman can achieve a fitness level that allows her to perform the same very difficult moves with solid weights and performance that I often wondered if possible when I watch the more male centric THENX videos. This is inspiring. If I follow the app and can achieve even half of what she can I my life would change forever.

      Chelsea Jackson First off, the longest hand stand is currently 12 minutes, secondly it is blatant that you have absolutely no idea regarding fitness. There is a huge difference between handstand and what he is doing. Practically, that is a handstand but she doesnt actually stand on her hands. A handstand should be maintained while your palms are in full contact and perpendicular to the ground. Before coming here with uneducated comments, do your research.

      I like how fit & strong she is, but her body isn't my ideal. She has the body shape of a man...a lot wider shoulders than hips & the hips are so small, basically non-existent. The beautiful female body shape & curves are completely gone. Just like with those women competing in the Olympic Sport...their bodies look totally like from a dude.
      I mean their bodies are fit & strong and look damn good...but not for a female. For me an ideal female body is curvy & fit.

      To be the first to Like & Comment remember to:
      1. Put your fingers on the keyboard and computer mouse. You want to maintain a perfect form!
      2. Keep those ‘clicking’ fingers tight, tight, tight!
      3. Once you feel it’s become too easy for you, you can try to add some resistance. Like moving to a different time zone. For me personally, it’s 3 a.m. here, 3h before waking up, which consecutively is pretty tough.
      4. Don’t worry if your comment is three. seven or even sixty two seconds late. Keep going and eventually you’ll get your free gear.

    We may train as hard as men. And even harder. But that does not change the fact that we are often weaker then men. That is what XC has shown me. It has also shown me to never compair myself to a male when it comes to strength or speed. But to compair myself to my past. And to just keep working hard.
