This is a great product for natural hair. I have been using this product for 6yrs and it does NOT harm my curls. In my opinion, this is the best box hair dye on the market. 😍Love this product! Great choice!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I use Shea Moisture box dye it’s pretty good too. Also I don’t think you had enough. It takes two boxes for me to do my entire head and I hate using the little squeeze bottle I always use the brush it makes application so much easier.
Sadly, I'm not surpried that I'm NOT seeing the same "Youre pretty, beautiful, and gorgeous" comments that I'm seeing in light skinned YT's videos on this same subject. I'm sure you don't need or thrive off the valudation, but I want to say, YOU'RE GORGEOUS!!

I have that same brand dye in my hair in the 5G light golden brown. My stylist recommended told to get and she put it in my hair. I get so many compliments. I had to use 4 boxes for my hair.

You could try @crownpaint_colors on ig they can be washed out and you can have all the fun of color and NO DAMAGE.

I LOVE Clairol Textures and Tones color line. Been using it for years. I like that it only gives a hint of color to my dark hair because the hubby be trippin regarding color. Always gets the job done. BTW your color before and after Adore is gorgeous 💕😍
I've been using Textures and Tones (Honey Blonde) for a few years and it works great and doesn't dry out my curls.

To avoid staining of skin around hairline use a Palmers coco butter stick. Apply it liberally as close to the hairline without touching the hairs.
I use a foam permanent color box dye. with the coco butter stick, the hairline is flawless.

Man me & that box dye brand go way back. When I first went natural in 2013 I used their honey blonde (still do even now). It always take very well on my hair ☺ but I'm honestly getting tired of this color. Might dye it soon 😌 & you not lying about that DC 😯 lol

Looks great!!! I'm so ready to dye my hair...but petrified at the same time. When I was relaxed I wore all kinds of colors. Since Ive been natural and learning so much about my hair, I'm scared to try new things like dye. I'm only 10 months natural......I don't wanna rush and have to start over.

I like the color snd I have that color again now. I buy the L'oreal Excellence Hicolor Highlights. It is specifically for dark hair w/o having to use bleach and no ammonia.
That one works by using a high level developer to lift color from the cuticle whulr depositing color. So you can technically damage your hair with it
TheNormalOddball I've taken it to my hair stylists twice and I don't believe she used a high level developer and I haven't had any damage to my hair.
TheNormalOddball i think it recommends nothing more than a 10 or 20 lvl developer... ppl like to use higher developers to make it go faster but it makes it more damaging...

I use box dye when I dye my hair and I mean I’ve dyed my hair like 80 different colors and as long as you take care of your hair after like deep conditioning and moisturizing then your fine. My hair hasn’t fell out yet , curls is still popping

I always use that brand as well. The one time I tried something else, my hair was damaged and I had to cut it. I’ll only use Clairol Textures and Tones from now on.

my hair used to never damage using box dyes and then i went to the salon to get highlights and they bleached my hair & now my hair is gone. i have a fine 3b 3c hair & i just recently chopped it to my neck
this happened to me too so i cut it all off and regrew it back

You should try Shea Moisture color. I have never used a color that lifts well without bleach and leaves my hair really soft as Shea Moisture.

Micellular cleansing water takes off dye that may get on skin. Also, Vaseline is a great barrier.

Hi...I know this is 3 years old, but I wanted to try this color and wanted to know if you have a warm undertone to your skin. I've tried other red colors and they were for cool undertones and I liked AWFUL!! I think this color looks beautiful on you and was just wondering.
I use that same brand and I always use to boxes. You hair is thicker than mine. I’m wondering if you may have needed more dye.

I just used a box dye but I had to 2 boxes and my hair is no where near as long or as thick as yours. Maybe it didn’t take because you needed another box

I love that color!!!! That's the same dye and color I used my first time back in 2001/02 and throughout. I doing that one for the fall. I'm 🌰 right now by Dark & Lovely. We have to use a 40 or so developer to boost it to the color we want.
